Summary
After “falling out of” (letting go of) that tree, Evan not only broke his arm, but also his wing.
He didn’t realise that wings don’t heal for a good while.
He didn’t realise he can’t wrap his wings around the ones he cared about anymore.
He didn’t realise he can’t fly now.
Or, well, not for a while.
It was a nasty fall and he landed directly on his wing.And now he’s paying the price. For about like, a good while anyway.

We know what happened when Connor died, but do we know what would’ve happened if Evan died, Connor lived, There’s multiple gay panics ( like we mean a lot here ), And a couple of traumatised and mentally ill teenagers… oh wait, that already was in the original musical. Uh.. basically, one ( or two ) neurodivergent teenager(s) writing an AU of dear evan hansen after they got bored, Hooray, where evan dies, connor lives, and… yeah we’ll figure the rest out later. its peak. I swear.
