Summary
Aizawa Shouta is 22 years old and he is in his first agency’s ground floor lobby area.
It is sometime around eleven o’clock, maybe— he’s just checking in to start patrol. The streets outside the agency building are still plenty warm and muggy from the stupidly hot summer day. It feels delightful, being inside, with the AC on full blast. The couches are shitty and make your back hurt if you sleep on them for too long, no matter what position you lay down in, but Shouta never minds.
Aizawa Shouta is 22 years old, and he’s at the stage in his life where a nap is a nap is a nap, and any back pains he acquires can always be stretched out again.
Except that isn’t right. That isn’t right /at all/.

aka the time Aizawa got retrograde amnesia, couldn't remember the past decade, and his friends/ family all send him videos and pictures while he's in the hospital of their best memories of him and what all he's done in the past 10 years in order to help him recover. Fluff and crack ensue.

When he picks up his phone, it’s Midoriya. Of course it is. The kid’s voice comes over the line sounding breathy, punched-out. Raw, like he’s been crying. The words rush out of his mouth in a jumble.
“It’s Todoroki. I’m so sorry, Aizawa-sensei, it’s Todoroki, he-” Hizashi sits up from the couch when he sees Shouta stiffen. Midoriya exhales. Shouta can hear how shaky it is.

“Hey,” Eijirou says, grabbing hold of his shoulders, his face, his back, anywhere he could touch. “Hey, hey, hey, I’ve got you. I’ve got you.”
Or; Katsuki’s heart skips wrong and Eijirou is left watching the strongest person he’s ever known come undone from the passenger seat beside him.
