This was new.
He somehow found himself on the doorstep of the mayor. To say he was nervous was an understatement. It was the mayor. Yet it wasn't the mayor who came out the door. It was a young man. A brunette a tiny bit taller than him, though considerably younger. Maybe eighteen, nineteen if you wanted to stretch it. His hair was pulled back in a blue bandana and he was dressed in a blue and white jacket.
He didn’t know why, but the boy seemed eerily familiar. Did he know him from somewhere? He must’ve. Maybe he passed him on the street or something. That’s the only rational explanation.
Yet he couldn't help but notice an uneasy feeling churning in his gut.
Or..
What if MK and the others hadn't managed to beat the Lady Bone Demon?

"It was bound to happen eventually. The manhunt was starting to get pretty intense, and Stanley couldn't say he wasn't enjoying the chase. Still, he knew he needed to lose them soon, or else he’d get more attention than he wanted. The criminal was deep in thought as he jumped rooftop to rooftop before being thrown out of his thoughts. Literally. One moment he was jumping onto the roof of the furniture store, the next he was being catapulted into the side of a building.
Upon opening his eyes the criminal realized how deep in shit he truly was."

Summary
An AU where Red Son is a vampire.
When MK finds the legendary staff, there isn't any villains around to steal it, but he still somehow meets the angry demon.
Or, MK uses his new immortal powers to feed a hot vampire infinitely.
(Contains discussions of Eating Disorders : for a vampire, normal foods are tasteless, so it's mostly concerning the "joy in eating" issue, nothing too bad)

Summary
Unsatisfied with his immortality but not so much that he's actually be willing to die, Wukong decides to go into deep astral meditation to be reborn as a new, better version of himself. Upon awakening he decides to stay in his stone statue form and observe the modern world through his gold vision. He's pretty content with being praised all day by strangers until a particular child begins to show up so regularly he cannot call him a stranger anymore. Maybe a friend.
OR the self indulgant fic inspired by a Hanfu created to keep the statue of an immortal god warm that I found in the V&A and semi-spearheaded by Kyri drawing some art based on it -

“Oh, Wukong,” Macaque sighs, voice coloured in a mix of disappointment and fondness, his unoccupied hand sliding up to pat absently at the Monkey King’s cheek, “You truly do make this all too easy.”
