Years after the events of The Stanley Parable, Stanley finally is adjusted to being a normal person. He has a normal home, a normal work life, and a…well, less than normal story for where he came from. However, his comfortable normalcy is interrupted when an email and an all-too familiar face shows up. Turns out, Narrator’s pissed off a chaotic entity, and now Stanley has to help fix things. Joined by his friend Mariella, he has to bring the Parable back to normalcy. But after all the trouble he had gone through, will it really be worth it? Or will he be trapped once more?

Business is going extremely well for the Special Acquisitions department, which is great for their egos but terrible for staying out of trouble. Curator practices trusting other people, difficult as it may be. Mariella has time to think about what kind of person she wants to become. Narrator presses on like nothing's changed - if he keeps going forward, he'll never have to face his past.Stanley realizes, too late, how little he really knows about Narrator.
