He hated her. Jinx. The demon that had possessed the body of his former best friend. Powder was gone, but Jinx was here to stay. He had held back his punches and avoided her in their fights for so long, too long, holding onto the last shred of hope that Powder was still in there. He desperately wanted to believe that his friend, the girl he had loved, still existed somewhere inside the monster. Today had proved him wrong and shattered the last of his foolish dreams.
