A story sparked by my obsession with Astarion because I'm pathetic.
(first person pov)
Darcy (Tav) made a mistake trusting the wrong person and now it's coming back to bite her in the ass in the form of cursed wound. She's always been gullible, it's a problem, especially in a world like this. She hides her injury from her companions, not wanting to seem like a liability but ultimately ends up having to tell someone when her magic starts to weaken. She turns to Astarion, the only one who she think will give an honest opinion without letting feelings cloud his judgement. She knows he doesn't care about her and that he's only helping her for his own gain, so why is it that every time he looks at her does her heart beat a little faster?

In hindsight, it probably wasn't the smartest idea to bring home a strange man she had just found stumbling around in the woods covered in blood, but Samantha never really listened to her instincts. And although he had the face of angel, with her luck he was probably the devil in disguise.
This takes place after the Hawkins Lab Massacre, Henry escapes and unknowingly runs into the daughter of Dr. Brenner. She gives him a place to stay while he plots revenge, only for him to find out revenge might be easier to get than he originally thought it would be.Will he continue with his plan for revenge or will his plans change when he starts to care about Samantha?

“Mr. Kogane?” The coworker asks, sounding alarmed. And oh, right. Fuck. They were just talking about—about something. Keith can’t think straight anymore. “Are you okay?”
