morimoops

A picture of a black fruit bat with only it's head visible, peekong out of a white blanket. It's nose is sticking up like it's sniffing the camera and it's eyes are wide open. It almost looks like a black german sheperd dog.

“Professor Drake, would you care to tell us where you spleen is located?”

    “Probably in a jar somewhere."

    or

Bernard and Tim end up teaching at the same University. A video of their interaction goes viral, and suddenly, the entire internet ships it. The student body ships it as well, so they go snooping around their professors' personal lives. They end up snooping a little too much, though, and suddenly the whole thing is spiraling out of control. Meanwhile, Bernard and Tim are idiots.

“I want to stay here,” Tim says, his voice so soft Stephen almost thought he’d imagined it. “With Peter. With you. I feel like I can — breathe, here.”

    Strange nods once. “Then stay.”

Tim’s head jerks slightly, startled. “What?”

“Stay.” His tone doesn’t waver. “You’ll go back when you need to. When you choose to. Not before. Until then… this is home.”

“Uh-huh. Sure. Okay.” Peter doesn’t know if it’s better to believe the stalker or not. “And what’s your deal, Tim? Why are you squatting on my fire escape like a raccoon?”

    “I don’t know.”

    Peter waits. “...You don’t know.”

“Not really. I just — ended up here.” Tim’s brow furrows. “You’re the only one who can see me, aren’t you?”

Or: Peter Parker is being haunted by an amnesiac ghost named Tim — who may or may not have once been a hero.

I keep looking at LonelyLittleLizard's DCU x MCU crossovers and going "is anyone going to read that?" and not waiting for an answer. This is my 4th or 5th one in the past 48 hours. I have no regrets, they're all amazing.

“I’m… looking for my brother,” Tim blurts. The lie slips out smoother than he expected. He adds a shrug for good measure. “Jason. He came through first. I followed.”

Something in Strange’s gaze shifts — the first hint of a crease between his brows. He doesn’t buy it completely, but he’s listening now.

“You opened a cross-dimensional rift,” Strange says slowly, like he doesn’t believe Tim’s lie, “to look for your brother.”

Or: After Jason Todd dies, he ends up in the MCU. Tim Drake — instead of finding Bruce Wayne and becoming the next Robin — goes after him.

Or: Post-Lazarus Jason Todd gets halfway adopted by Steve Rogers and thirteen-year-old genius Tim Drake gets fully adopted by the Sorcerer Supreme himself.

    Summary

“Tell me about Thanos, then. Or what the hell Contingency A-01 is.”

“I don’t know,” Tim says again, with more fervor. “I don’t remember, alright? Last thing I remember, I was on patrol, and now you’re telling me I ended up in a different universe with half a note from my dad telling me about a contingency I swear to you I never heard of.”

Telling the truth betrays every instinct he has, but Tim is nerved out beyond all reasonable measures, and he just wants to find a way home.
Besides, he thinks, half-bitterly, it might be nice to have someone else in this lonely new universe, even if it's just for a little while.

“I’ll make you a deal, okay?” He tries to bargain with the wizard. “I’ll help you with this Thanos guy, and you help me get back to my own universe.”

Or: Tim Drake ends up in the MCU with no memory of how he got there, and Stephen Strange and Tony Stark accidentally both adopt him.
