Once upon a time, in the 70s, there was a little girl who talked to the Moon. Her name was Robin Buckley, and though she knew the Moon couldn't talk back she'd talk to it whenever she was lonely, or sad, or just bored. She renamed the Moon Nancy, because 'Moon' is a boring name for a moon and Nancy means 'grace' or 'favor', and she told 'Nancy' everything.
Once upon a time, in the 80s, the Moon noticed that her favorite human's new job put her literally right on top of a gateway to a hell dimension, and decided to come down to Earth and do something about it. She just didn't realize that in human form she'd find Robin so damn pretty.
