    Light is spilling into the loft, the early morning causing an almost pink-glow. Dust particles float through the air. The birds are chirping, cars are noisily passing, and he can hear his neighbors leaving for work.
    But- none of that matters- not right now. Because he has Eddie holding him. He’s so close Buck can feel every breath he takes, every beat of his heart.
