    Optimus does **not** see Bumblebee as a child. gotta make that explicitly clear.
    he sees him as someone who need protection, he feels obligated to make sure he's okay as his commanding officer AND his Prime.
    Bumblebee does not see Optimus as his father, he sees him as an over-protective, extraordinarily attractive mech.

    Some of these chapters are not going to make sense if you take them like a timeline, some are just one-shots that I didn't want to make a whole other book for.
