A practiced smile that doesn’t reach the eyes. A bright red and yellow uniform that immediately catches one’s attention. A cap with some sort of…antennae protruding from its left and right eyelets. A slightly tilted nametag with the words “Hi, I am Manager Jamil!” printed on it. And most of all, a demeanor that just screams silent agony the longer the conversation with the customer drags on. Such things are the manifestation of the muted misery that ScaraBee’s main branch manager, Jamil Viper, deals with on a regular basis.
The Asims own the famous fastfood chain ScaraBee. Kalim is the son of the CEO of said corporation, and Jamil is the stressed manager of the main branch. It goes about as well as you’d expect.

It’s a shounen manga series about youth, rivalry, and friendship where aspiring patissiers duke it out with each other through pastry making competitions. It’s a must-read, I assure you. It’s just the best series there is! Especially since it has Chiyoda Reito, the LOML, the one who made me realize what it means to be alive—
