Summary
There are some things that seem like they should be possible for any spirit, no matter their age, no matter their origin. Accessing the Spirit World seems like it should be a given, right? But no matter how hard he tries, the Blue Spirit hasn't been able to leave the physical world or his physical form at all.
He needs to find the Avatar. They're the only one capable of fixing his problem. Never mind the fact that the Avatar hadn't been seen for almost a hundred years.

It's not too long after all the Superfly stuff when weird things start popping up again, high school be damned. It starts with a mysterious stalker, who just happens to be another turtle mutant. Older, bigger, maybe a bit grumpier... Refuses to talk about themself even a little bit. It's fine, don't worry about it. Definitely won't lead to anything else.

“I’m trying to figure out what species of turtle you are,” Mikey admitted sheepishly. Donnie was just confused though. Clearly, he was not any known Earth turtle species, like, that was pretty obvious?
“...I’m an alien?” He retorted, almost offended, mostly bewildered. “What do you think you are?”
“An ornate box turtle!” Mikey declared with a smile. “Just got a bit bigger than the rest of ‘em.”
“What? No… What? That is not how animals work. Even if a box turtle managed to end up 4 feet tall and bipedal, they wouldn’t just suddenly have the capacity to understand human language.”

Dumpster diving isn’t normally a past-time of yours, but after a fall like the one you just sustained, you find yourself hard-pressed to move on too quickly. Investigating the trash heap closest to you, you can see a mailbox, a stuffed animal, a soggy cardboard box, and an old gaming console. Wedged among these, a faint light glinting off its screen, is an old CRT TV.
You decide to get a closer look.

It felt like yesterday when two whole families were crowded around his screen. Then he remembered what actually happened that morning - he'd been excited that Kris had spared him a passing glance before disappearing out the door.

It was weird. She could feel the figure wiggling against either side, but not the bottom. Like whatever was stuck inside it was floating. And it was warm against her scales, almost hot. Through the cracks she’d made in the paper mâché, she kept spotting flickers of red, like blood.
...Maybe it really WAS a severed hand.
Susie raised an eyebrow, then grinned. What if she took a quick peek before Noelle got back? Just so she’d know how to keep a hold on it. (And not at all because the curiosity was driving her nuts.)
She tipped the figure back, yawning it open against her palm like a clam shell. Warm red light washed over the lines on her skin, brighter than ever, and the steady thumping got louder. And louder. And brighter. And louder. And brighter. And...
And then, all at once, a bright red SOUL toppled out and started floating in Susie’s hand.
