Summary
“Hold on, just hang on a sec, I know I have a knife here somewhere –” Untying the ropes would take too long; he needed to get Stan out of there now and then he could figure out what was going on. He looked wildly about the room before remembering the knife he always kept in his pocket. Stupid! Stan’s half dead over there; have some common sense for once in your life!
Ford whirled around, knife raised determinedly, and Stan –
--Stan actually whimpered.
AKA: Bill, never understanding humans as well as he’d like to think, decides to show Ford the extent of his power with a bribe: the beaten and subdued man who’d ruined his life, also known as his twin. It...doesn't go as planned.

Summary
“He didn’t mean to,” Raphael argued, as if stricken by what she was implying. “Michael, you know him. He only asked questions. He is naive and curious and full of mischief, but that hardly makes him a—a—”
He searched for the right word, groping for the knowledge that hadn’t existed before the War.
Michael told him. “Demon,” she said. “Evil spirit.”
She wasn’t happy to say it. She wasn’t happy to watch the expressions parade across Raphael’s face. Horror, and hurt, and anger, and grief.

Summary
The angel approached Crawly with a quick step, and Crawly—well, never let it be said he’s slow on the uptake. And he’s learned over the past twenty-some hours on Earth that angels very much strike first and apologize never.
So he backpedaled, keeping a healthy distance (and a large ficus) between himself and the guardian, and didn’t mind if it made him look like a coward.
Only—the angel certainly looked stricken by that maneuver. He froze mid-step and wrung his hands, eyes wide and lamplike and strangely human.
So maybe the ficus was a bit much.

Summary
Between his daily routines and his puzzles, everything in Snowdin works perfectly, like a machine envisioned by a genius, designed and assembled by a clever engineer, and maintained perfectly by a watchful, diligent skeleton called Papyrus. And someday, that machine will produce exactly what Papyrus wants -- to be recognized as special, important, and above all, very cool and amazing. He just has to keep at it.
All of his plans melt into nothing when the human traipses into Snowdin.

“If you could think about your actions for one moment,” my crazy evil magic dad said, “you’d realize you didn’t have to do this.”
“Fuck you,” I said. I shifted my grip on the sword. “Had it not been for Harrow’s wiggly noodle arms, I would have slaughtered you.”
