Shen Yuan transmigrated into a random beast peak disciple and took a research mission far away from the sect studying flora and fauna in a natural yin nexus. Surely the plot won't find such an unimportant, far away NPC, right?

Qi Qingqi released one of Shen Qingqiu’s tightly-bound ankles to make a hasty salute. As she came back up, Yue Qingyuan saw she had a rapidly fading black eye. “Zhangmen-shixiong! We peak lords have reason to believe Shen-Shixiong is possessed!”

Yue Qingyuan’s smile tightened further. “This one is confident that is not the case.”

The peak lords of Cang Qiong band together to solve the mystery of Shen Qingqiu's strange behavior once and for all, using as many truth-revealing artifacts as it takes to prove their suspicions correct.
