Summary
Izuku Midoriya is a 14 year old who's getting bullied, has a crush ON his bully, is hated by the only family member he has left, and is a self-loathing pushover; so in other words a loser. He's only made it this far in life because of his intellect and mechanical intuition, but the thing that really keeps him alive, is his dream of becoming a hero, a dream that keeps him from giving Christmas lights a new use that involves tying a noose and a new place to decorate called his neck.
Since the universe really like to mess with him, it decided to let Izuku meet his idle, the one keeping his dream alive, just so said idle can break his heart along with his any motivation in him to keep breathing. So what does Izuku do? He takes his bully's kind advice to kill himself, or at least he tries to. Someone catches him just as he's about to hit the ground, someone that shows Izuku that he can be a hero. Just a week later he finds himself training for the U.A. entrance exams with the hero that saved him, and things seem to finally be working out for the boy...and the universe didn't seem to like that, because it gave Izuku the quirk he should have gotten nine years ago.
He'd have been happier his quirk wasn't so annoying.
