Summary
He wants to try.
He is boneweary and heavy and it would be much less work to stop forcing himself-- to simply fade away. But instead he clings to the desire to be better and tries to wield it and find a reason to get out of bed. He hasn’t been able to do it yet. But maybe today he can. And maybe, then, tomorrow it will be easier.Bookmarked by smolkot

Ennoshita isn’t quite sure when he starts to suspect that his house is haunted.
Two weeks after he moves in? Three, four weeks, perhaps? A month? He barely remembers waking up or going to sleep – does he sleep? He must. Probably. It’s impossible for humans to go without sleep (and Ennoshita would know, there are people calling him “doctor” 12 hours a day every day). He certainly doesn’t remember eating, but he must, sometime, somehow – again, the whole “basic human survival function” thing.
New job, new house... new roommate? When Ennoshita bought the place, he wasn't expecting for it to come with what must be the neatest ghost in the world.

Summary
Tighnari refused to back down, that coy smile stuck to his face like glue. “I was just thinking… maybe he’d have more fun with me.”
“With you?” Al Haitham sneered. The air was stiff, the space between them growing ever thin, the warmth of Al Haitham’s hand seeping through Tighnari's shirt.
“Yeah.” Tighnari breathed, meeting Al Haitham’s sharp eyes, “I just don’t believe you could satisfy Kaveh… let alone me.”
Or: A drunk round of spin the bottle quickly spirals out of control.

Summary
"Are you aware you've hired a degenerate?" Beidou hisses. "She's spoken to me about your figure, about your attire, even how you look while exiting the bath! Does it not bother you?"
"Why do you ask? Does it bother you?" Ningguang asks slowly, almost tauntingly.
Beidou snaps her mouth shut and leans heavily back in the seat. Ningguang hadn't realized that she had tilted forward until the weighty movement. "Of course not. I have no claim or vested interest in the matter, no?"
She hums. "I suppose you do not. What do you suggest I do, then? Fire her? Find another person who is devoted enough to me that I can trust them with the goings-on of the Jade Chamber?"
A muscle ticks in Beidou's jaw. "If it's devotion you want, then you don't need to look much further," she says heatedly.
After an injury, Ningguang invites Beidou into the Jade Chamber to recuperate. Beidou doesn't leave. Ningguang doesn't kick her out.
