Summary
March 16, 1976 — the night Regulus Black’s life ended. Some things are worse than death, and being a werewolf is one of them. After being bitten and stripped of his future, Regulus struggles to find meaning. Time will show, however, that he may not be as alone as he thinks. Through unexpected friendships and maybe even something more, Regulus begins to realise that life was never meant to be lived for others.
Or; it takes nearly dying for Regulus to learn what it truly means to live.

Summary
A small interaction between Regulus and Euphemia before his fifth year at Hogwarts alters the trajectory of his life. Asked to watch out for Regulus, James finds himself readily falling for him as they spend more time together. It can never be that simple though- the Black's expectations and dysfunction grasp onto the younger boy relentlessly, and the raging war outside the doors of Hogwarts moves closer to them every day.
Dealing with the hardships and traumas of their reality, the question remains: how far are they willing to go for one another?
Following the boys from their final years of Hogwarts into their roles during the First Wizarding War, this is a long fic exploring the depths of their devotion. It deals with sensitive topics so please be mindful of the tags; there is a comprehensive note at the start of the fic detailing warnings. Eventual happily ever after (it's a long ride).

Summary
[“Right,” Hakoda manages. “An honor.”
“Once we will endeavor to meet with equal honor in return,” the Fire Lord says so quickly he starts almost before Hakoda gets out the last syllable.
“Sure.” Hakoda has to forcibly unclench his teeth to grind out, “We’re happy to welcome the delegation.” As if they had any choice in it.
Fuck, but it would have been a lot easier to say no if the Fire Lord weren’t dating his son.]
Or,
Zuko is nervous about making a good impression on his first visit South as Fire Lord, which certainly has nothing to do with meeting Sokka’s father.
Sokka is excited to see his boyfriend after months apart, and is absolutely totally fine with not being involved in the week’s political negotiations. Totally.
Hakoda already has a headache just thinking about how exactly he’s supposed to interact with a fellow world leader who is also a teenager, and also dating his son, and wait--Sokka’s old enough for dating now? When did that happen?

Summary
Right after Boiling Rock, Zuko found Sokka sprawled in his tent with a bouquet of red roses, and a ring of romantic candles, and one final rose set between his teeth. With the littlest twinge of envy, Zuko realized the entire display was for Suki.
The point is Sokka's flirting is about as subtle as a buffalo yak. To miss it, you’d have to be a complete and utter airhead.

Summary
Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.
A lot.

Summary
Chief Arnook never assigns Sokka to protect Princess Yue, so he goes to fight the Fire Nation with the other men. When the moon dies and the ocean spirit takes its revenge, Sokka is caught standing on the deck of a Fire Nation ship. Sokka should have drowned… and he would have drowned, if not for a certain Fire Nation raft fleeing the North Pole.
[An enemies-to-lovers season 2 rewrite, where Sokka is separated from the gaang during the Siege of the North, and travels the Earth Kingdom with Zuko instead].
