Summary
“You pathetic little worm,” Michael snarls, and Adam hopes he looks defiant, jaw tightly clenched as he stares back at the being who was the entire reason he was in this mess. “You presume to know me? Me? You don’t. You’re nothing."
And the archangel is smug, for all of a moment, before Adam leans forward—as much as he can—and tries to keep his voice from trembling as he spits out his retort.
"Yeah? Well, down here, so are you.”
Or—a human, an archangel, and the story of a thousand years in the Cage.

Summary
Castiel doesn’t know how he got from the Empty to the floor of a barn. The last thing he remembers is saying his confession before falling with Dean onto the hay. And Dean has been different since his rescue, has thrown out all boundaries he’d ever said were customary. Humans always manage to surprise Castiel. Dean surprises him most of all.

Summary
Dean’s your typical half-orphaned, monster-killing 22-year-old until a trenchcoated stranger crashes into his back windshield one September night, claiming he’s an angel that knows him from the future and that he’s on the run.
Frigging fantastic.
(Or, in which Castiel gets stuck in Dean’s timeline preseries and Dean kind of hates it—until he doesn’t.)

Summary
All Dean wants to do when he and Sam get home after an ugly hunt is drown his woes in the most expensive bottle the Men of Letters left behind. Maybe even hang out with Cas if he's there--though of course he isn't, as usual. The bunker is as dark and quiet and empty as they'd left it.
Well. Perhaps not entirely empty...
