Summary
Dejected, defeated, and reminded of her failures whenever she raises her eyes to a bright sky that held the darkness of night not too long ago, Emira has no hope for the future after the events on Mount Gulg. With a ticking timer inside of her and not knowing what else to do, she takes up her enemy's offer to head to his home, though not in search of hope.
No, the Tempest is where hope goes once it has already died and withered away.

Summary
All Ishgardians have the potential to become precisely what they fought against for a thousand years—all it would take is a few measly drops of dragon blood to reawaken monstrous transformations and feral behaviors that lay dormant within them. Thankfully, after the Dragonsong War ended, most so-called heretics put aside the practice of consuming or forcing others to consume dragon blood.
Of course, "most" isn't "all".
And the Lord Commander is such a tempting target for those whose emotional wounds are still fresh and raw.

Summary
For years, the people of Ishgard, especially House Haillenarte in particular, have been fascinated by the series of floating islands they named the Diadem. Countless new varieties of flora and fauna from them have been documented, ranging from ferocious reptiles that were long-thought extinct to carnivorous plants that managed to acquire prey despite the lack of any ability to actively go after their food.
It was such a plant that the Warrior of Light currently found herself trapped in.

Summary
Against all rational thought, you wanted this to the point where you were fantasizing about the Ascians using and abusing you even while you were supposed to be focused on your heroic duties.
After all the bloodshed and pain, death and loss that being the Warrior of Light put you through, you decided that you had to fulfill this selfish need of yours, if just to stay sane in the face of so much hardship.
...It was just a shame that your companions would never understand.
