Reo raised her eyebrows: "Are you implying we're not? Do you think I just let any classmate into my house?"
He shook his head: "That's not what I meant. I was just wondering, if you hid the fact, that he's your boyfriend on purpose."
Reo's brain stopped for a moment. She was frozen, staring right at her fathers face. Nagi? Boyfriend? Her cheeks filled with red. The sea urchin she was holding dropped back on her plate.

"Really, who shows up in Knockturn alley dressed like some muggle. You're lucky, you're still alive," the blond kept dragging him by his hand. Alexis obediently followed.
He was pale and rather haggard, but he didn't lack arm strength. In fact, Alexis could confidently state that this boy was stronger than some of his older brothers.
As soon as they were out of Diagon Alley, the other boy yanked and released his grip. Alexis hit the pavement. When looking up from the ground, he looked even more impressive than before.
Alexis quickly got up, dusting off his pants: "My name is Alexis Ness. Thank you for saving me!"

Ness has always believed in miracles. Turns out that they are real - he's a wizard. Before starting his studies at Hogwarts, he meets Michael Kaiser, who, possibly, is the most wonderful thing Alexis has ever experienced.

"Why don't we go indoors first? Grab some tea, maybe?" she flashed Cheryl a charismatic smile.
"Oh, I don't know about that," she smirked, visibly enjoying this dynamic, "why should I waste my precious time, when you could just spit out whatever you're about to beg for-"
"Begging's a strong word," Veronica cut her off, "and you don't want any prying eyes or ears on us, do you?"
"Come inside," she stepped aside, letting Veronica enter through the door.

Nesaņēmusi atbildi, viņa turpināja: "Šī ir smaga diena mums visiem."
Viņš ieņēma vietu kādā tukšā krēslā, tālāk no spilgtās lampas, kas izgaismoja Šoko balto mēteli. Tā spīdēja viņam acīs.

"Kaiser," Ness addressed him as if it were a title rather than a name, "are you going to go to the bar with the others?" Even before that, Kaiser had heard the plan. Most of their teammates were planning to go drinking together. He didn't want to spend more time with them than necessary.
"No," he replied, nibbling a small piece of potato from Ness's leftovers, "from our teammates, you're the only one who interests me."
At those words, Ness's face broke into a half-hidden smile, just as expected, "Really?"
"Well of course. Everyone else on this team is like crap on the bottom of my shoes," he smirked, immediately receiving several threatening looks.
"Then maybe we should celebrate together? Just the two of us?" hopeful eyes scanned his face.
