Summary
This goes along side my mystreet rewrite, essentially it's every chapter told from the perspective of Travis as he tries to navigate the world after recovering from his strange bouts of memory loss and moving out. while the main fic this story is told in is from a third-person omniscient POV, this is just Travis documenting his experience to that way if he does forget again, he'll have something to help him remember.

Frye has a little oopsie and dies. Shiver and Big Man eat her. It only gets stranger from there. Probably the most fucked-up, weird, psychedelic, existential Splatoon fanfiction ever written. It shifts between, like 30 different perspectives, and involves cannibalism, the anima mundi, a world inhabited by gulls 20 million years into the future, the telephone formerly known as Tartar, animal slaughter, albatrosses, black oil covering people's bodies, beating disembodied hearts and a theme of learning to stop asking so many questions and just appreciate life as it happens.

Summary
“Does Peko-chan get nightmares too?”
“All the time,” Peko says, because she doesn’t see a point in lying about it. She considers elaborating, but decides to let Ibuki take the reins in this regard, instead letting her gaze settle back on the ceiling.
And Ibuki does ask: “What about?”
“Fuyuhiko, usually. Losing him again. Or dying.” Peko traces her own fingers along her own arms, where she sometimes still feels the tingling ache of the wounds she gathered in her execution. “That, or the Tragedy… but I dream of the Tragedy less often, selfishly.”
Ibuki’s hum is noncommittal. She drops back to lie down, arms splayed out at her sides. She says, “I dream of dying too. Pretty much only of dying.”
“I can tell,” Peko offers, before wincing at herself. Again, not the best at emotions. Ibuki only laughs, though.
