Summary
"Lost in the sweetness of Hannibal’s blood filling the room, as the full moon fuels his hunger, as he can only think of feed, feed, need, need, he doesn’t notice the knife aiming straight at his face. He only notices it once it’s been plunged into the starving meat of his hungry cheek, through his gums, tickling his nose, sending blood spurting everywhere.
In the very corner of his vision, Hannibal’s face contorts on the ground, stuck between sadness and shock. It’s such an aggressive reaction to Will’s miscalculation, like he’s been betrayed all over again."
Or, Will is a vampire, and Hannibal doesn’t know.

Summary
"Will’s brain sends the signals to his index finger to move, and, as if Hannibal sent it himself, he reaches to cup the hole with his palm, preventing the bullet to shoot through.
Will is quicker. Unstoppable, he drops the gun—it falls to the floor, Hannibal wasn’t holding it—and bends to pick up the hammer. It all happens so fast, Hannibal can’t hold him back, tear his hair and hands away from the scene, because Will growls and straddles Ingram and bashes his skull in."
Or
Will gets caught into the game too early, and Hannibal follows behind.

Summary
"Will presses the gun’s muzzle to Hannibal’s forehead, right in between his eyes. He clicks the safety off, pulls down the hammer, and arches his index on the trigger.
Hannibal seizes. Hard. Hearing the tell-tale clicks of the weapon, so close to his head, echoing in the thick walls of his skull, it makes the adrenaline spike, hot and burning. He closes his eyes, swallows, opens them again to keep Will’s gaze.
"Sit down.""
Or
Will purchases a gun, and makes Hannibal his target.
