Summary
Will is a teen in the foster care system. He's been through several foster homes, each one unable to handle the numerous problems Will has developed and created for himself over the years. At only sixteen, he has rather lengthy criminal record. He doesn't want to be this way; he doesn't want to be that terrible kid, but as his quiet pleas for help turn into unhealthy coping mechanisms, he has only gotten worse.
Hannibal is a foster parent who specializes in troubled children, taming the unruly, and molding them into something more acceptable for the general public. Little did he know that the night Jack Crawford showed up with the most unruly teen he has ever seen, his patience would be put to the test. No child has ever pushed his limits like Will. He rather likes the challenge, but how long until his patience wears thin? Can he break through the thick, concrete walls the boy has put up and save him from himself?

so like. i found out that the tv show hannibal actually takes place nearby virginia cuz…chesapeake ripper…chesapeake bay…see i didn’t realize it at first i thought hannibal was a silly little guy that committed crime in a fictional washington D.C or new york NO. anyways this is like lowkey a self insert fanfic but basically hannibal gets accepted into…my highschool’s humanities program as an exchange student and will is like a non-humanities kid like me but he should be in it and they meet from uhm…literature class and then they slowly become friends and deal with the shenans of the american high school system and then they fall in love. mwah <3. With Mother's Day impending, and Father's Day on the way, Will Graham is feeling particularly irascible. He has parent issues. He knows he does. As a therapeutic exercise, Hannibal proposes something novel: a vacation togethere, to recapture the childhood he never got to have. His caveats: Will must choose someplace he's never been, someplace he always wanted to go as a child.
The idea is absurd. Terrible. Ridiculous.
Will can only think of one place.
Hannibal will never agree. There's no way he will agree to go to a place where turkey legs are a staple, and oversized cartoon characters offer hugs on every corner.
Will calls his bluff.
