Summary
Out of all the things Enid expected in her college experience, rooming with a five foot two, pigtailed probably-serial-killer who was named after a day of the week didn’t make the list. But Enid Sinclair was nothing if not an optimist.
And Wednesday Addams was nothing if not…
Whatever the opposite of Enid was.

A.K.A. The college AU where nobody is a werewolf or a psychic but they still work like some weird enemies-to-friends-to-lovers anomaly.

Summary
The Great Morel, Deadly Nightshade, Belladonna, all the same plant. This is a brief story of how the eldest daughter of the house Dimitrescu first met and fell for the lady of house Beneviento and how they loved hard and as long as they could. It begins with a foolhardy attempt to cover a mistake that leaves Bela mortally wounded and alone in the woods facing an angry villager who smells blood. Donna Beneviento intervenes and takes Bela in while she heals. She is taken with the mute and veiled woman who seems to speak only through her eccentric, living doll.
They strike up an intimate friendship as Donna allows Bela to pull back the layers she has set to keep the world out. Bela learns why Donna keeps herself so hidden, why Alcina is so protective and the true dangers in the valley. After returning to her family, winter keeps Bela from returning to the misty valley of house Beneviento. She exchanges a season of letters with Donna as their relationship grows beyond a serendipitous friendship.
