Chapter Text

Hello

So, a new fandom for me in Scrubs a show I've gotten into these past months.

I decided to do a story or well a place to put either my one-shots or some of my connected-together stuff in one spot instead of spread about.

The first about is just having JD finally go off on Cox which never gets old.

Hospital corridor at Sacred Heart Hospital

John Dorian or better known as JD stands listening to Dr. Cox on how yet again has screwed up in some fashion, another girl name which are endless, yet frankly is just past his breaking point. Because the cold, hard truth is a man who he sees like a second father will just never care.

"Oh, for the love, just shut up. Truly Perry shut the heck up" JD says.

"What was that, Sherly?" Cox replies and attempting to conceal his shock or light bit of being impressed.

"I said just shut up. You know I have been there for you for some good years now. Throughout your troubling relationship with Jordan, when your brother-in-law died, pulling you back from the wagon after those patients died, and countless other times but does that earn me any respect? No. I am sick of trying to be a friend to you as you want to hide behind this big, tough mask. Well, guess what Mr. egotistical cold-hearted, selfish wolf I am over your crap for the first time in my life" JD says full of pain, and betrayal "I'm a doctor and my name is John Dorian. Not whatever stupid girl name you can think of. Good riddance."

Cox only watches speechless as JD turns storming down the hall, with being vaguely reminded of when years ago the young man did something similar for blowing up at not just him, but Barbie, Carla, and Turk over going on a date with the coma patient's wife.

Later in an apartment kitchen

Jordan Sullivan stands there with her arms folded and years of patience upon listening to Perry at the counter taking some brandy from his glass, while ranting about John Dorian.

"You know honey the difference between JD and you is the man actually has a bigger set than you since he has for years to put up with your harassment. JD hasn't screwed up at all Perry, you're the one who has and it's time you stepped up to be a man" Jordan says firmly.

Turning around Jordan walks out of the room leaving her husband in everything, but legalities left to stew in a mess of his making.

Hope this is enjoyable and if you want to leave a review letting me know what you think feel free.

Until next time.

Chapter Text

Folding his arms Dr. Cox looks on where inside a patient’s room as Sasha, no Dr. Dorian in reminding himself for desiring to get back some of the friendship is just checking up on a patient.

Waiting until the man exits while closing the door Cox heads over to Dorian who’s briefly looking at the chart.

“Is there something I can help you with doctor?” JD asks not bothering to look up.

“Well, aren’t we in a snippy mood today,” Cox says.

Sighing “Like I said yesterday I’m done dealing with, and now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go fire an intern for texting on his phone while treating a patient for the fourth time in a row who clearly thinks this is some medical TV drama yet lectures other interns for having their phone on break,” JD says icily.

“Listen I’m only going to say this once but yesterday… I pushed you too far. You are a good friend and doctor, don’t let anybody tell you differently. Not even me” Cox replies warmly “So whatever you wish to do now I’ll learn to live with.”

Having spoken his mind Cox turns around intending to walk off when an ever-familiar voice rings out.

“Wait uh Dr. Cox I accept your apology but actually getting to let you in is going to take longer. Like you have been there at times only an occasional shoulder such as when my dad died however it does not make up for all the times you’ve been a real jerk. I get why you need a certain element of fear or having a very cold front just from dealing with Kelso or every other thing this hospital throws at you. However, maybe tone it down around the people who try to care about you? Just a suggestion” JD replies passionately yet firmly.

Cox is actually speechless for a few moments until merely nodding as JD returns it before walking off. Cox turns heading in a different direction on needing to go check other patients.

Just another day at the hospital although at least he’s on better terms with Dorian once more.

Hope you all enjoyed this and leave a review letting me know what you.

Until next time.

Chapter Text

Hello to the readers.

So, Bill Lawrence on season 3 DVD boasts about proud he is of wasting the audience’s time for three long seasons with JD/Elliot and how they are not will/they won’t they, with being glad he ended them just to being spiteful towards the fans who thought they were going to get together.

And somehow Lawrence thinks all the times JD/Elliott did hook up was them not together? Wow, what an idiot.

Never mind how in season 8 when finally, JD/Elliot did get back together never did talk about that in the DVD, from what I could find. So not shocking.

On top of the bigger issue is they didn’t want JD/Elliot as a couple, fine then give us a worth while relationship to get invested in and not just train wrecks we did get.

In season 3 we got Danni Sullivan who I actually liked JD and her together, plus it opened up more story possibilities given she is Jordan’s sister. Only after six episodes broke them up for some reason and brought Danni with did such a rewrite job, she might have well been a new character.

This is me fixing 3x11 ending.

Outside the Sacred Heart Hospital

“That silence? That’s you breaking up with me” Danni says sadly.

Watching Danni walk away JD let’s all the various scenarios run through his head, and maybe in a different timeline or earth would let this just happen only decides to act.

“Hey, wait” JD says suddenly.

Grabbing ahold of the railing John Dorian leaps over landing on his feet with walking over to the surprised blonde-haired woman.

“Okay I screwed up, I’ll admit that and you are right there is a part of me still hung up on Elliot. Facing facts my relationship with her is a mile passed complicated but honestly doesn’t mean I don’t want to try to move on. Another thing is a reason for the whole moving in scares me, is not just Elliot for why I don’t let people get close. My childhood is a bloody nightmare, I have lots of issues and I just…” John Dorian says exhaustedly only to get gently cut off.

“Whoa, hold up there. You have issues I get it, but I would rather we work though this together, okay?” Danni says firmly yet warmly.

“Alright, I can do that” John Dorian replies.

“Good” Danni says.

Leaning up Danni kisses JD on his lips who returns in care, and passion until they break off. Smiling JD and her taking each other’s hand walking through the parking lot.

“Maybe I’ve never actually broken up with anyone, but perhaps I won’t have too either. I can take joy in that.” JD thinks.

Hope you all enjoyed this.

Frankly on relationships I would say the best written one romance wise has to be Cox and Jordan hands down.

Until next time

Chapter 4

Notes:

On Chapter 4: Following Carla alongside Turk chews JD and Dr. Cox out for their actions of JD actually being grown up alongside Cox telling a kid about having leukemia. Only unlike the show no writer's protection exits for Carla. Rather JD unleashes a lashing to Carla "Mary Sue" Espinosa.

Chapter Text

Hello again

This is me tackling an issue from 7x05 and well venting at Carla who if I actually had to list everything, I dislike about the writers unlike pet I would need a full-length novel.

Instead let’s just get on with the story. Carla fans if you don’t like this, use the back button.

Sacred Heart Hospital Lunchroom

There is a quietness after Turk more or less just following his wife, alongside Carla get done lecturing both JD and Cox. Not even bothering to glance towards the other man, John Dorian is glaring towards the married couple, utterly fuming.

“Are you two freaking kidding me?” JD asks angrily.

“JD, what is your” Carla begins yet gets cut off.

“Shut it, Carla and you as well Christopher for defending your abusive wife” JD growls.

“Hey, my wife is not abusive, I can’t believe you man that you would” Turk starts.

“Shut up and sit down. You had your chance” Cox says, mostly out of pride towards the younger man, and excited to see where this goes.

“Let’s see Carla constantly complaining you were never mature enough for years, or would just as soon throw Rowdy into a woodchipper despite knowing you love that dog. Complained you wanted to exercise to keep in shape instead of going to the park to tell her how pretty she is, and maybe if you had exercised you wouldn’t be suffering with diabetes. Never mind having used sex for control more than once including getting you to have kids in the first place, has the entire nurses staff report on you, and oh right will never stop interfering in people’s lives. Constantly judging, I mean goodness grief how to you even live with yourself being that narcissistic? Just like now” JD says icily “Besides I bet the only reason you stay with her is since having a kid together.”

Turk and Carla just stare in open mouth shock at his rant, and how deep down they know he’s right.

“And now let’s discuss Josh since Carla when did you get a doctor degree? Did we miss an award show or something, because sorry you’re the freaking nurse. You should know when to keep your bloody mouth closed! Josh has bloody Leukemia, not a common cold. His parents were total morons for thinking they could keep something like that from him. Dr. Cox was right and if it’s made by his childhood? It means Perry actually cares about his patients with not wanting them to suffer. Despite his horrible treatment towards friends, Dr. Cox at least is a good parent. Turk one last thing is you don’t have room on complaining regarding me following advice you gave for being grown up” JD says in a very, icy voice.

Carla and Turk only look on in disbelief alongside having zero rebuttal while Cox looks on in pride, and concern as JD gets up storming out.

Hope you all enjoyed this and if you want let me know what you think.

Yeah,  writing JD actually cut lose was so very cool, and frankly on the rare times Zach Braff actually gets material to sink his teeth into, well the guy can do more than just childish comedy.

Plus,  Carla getting called out is so massively rewarding, especially given her flat out writer’s pet treatment as everybody else is wrong but never Carla.

Frankly Carla got close to Iris West levels of bad from The Flash show.

Until next time
