I wrote myself into a corner a few chapters ago and have only been burrowing further since. Hence, I decided to rewrite the story altogether. If you're interested in that, check the notes for the link :)

Do note that while the premise will be the same and the chapters familiar, there's a *lot* of newly added content/edits. In other words, even if you've read this one already and you're still interested in the story, you should read all of the chapters anyway, else you'll probably be very confused - especially when it comes to characterization.

Apologies for this, but I really didn't like how this version was going.
