Chapter Text
When Frank moved into a new apartment complex with a fake name (Francis Castillo), he expected to be left alone by his neighbors. A widowed ex-Marine is hardly the kind of person you want to continuously talk with. He greatly underestimated the hospitality of the Parkers.
—————————————
When May Parker was 33 and found a child on her doorstep, she rolled with it, and within a week decided if his parents had survived and came back for him, they could kindly fuck off. Peter was hers now.
When May Parker was 35, and a lonely widow moved in next door, she and Peter, who had turned 6 last month, baked him a pie and knocked on his door. Francis, though he insisted they call him Frank, was very polite, and great with Peter.
When she found out he had lost his kids along with his wife, she resolved to come over more often, and considered the possibility of him being Peter's babysitter. he was awfully nice after all.
—————————————
When Frank heard a knock on his door, and found a lovely women and her nephew, who was carrying a pie and such an angle that all the filling would surely fall out, he quickly invited them in, and they shared the pie and had a lovely conversation that lasted two hours.
Before he knew it, he was little Peter's babysitter, despite having only known the boy for a week. He continued taking care of the boy, for he was lovely company, and very bright. When the boy declared him his favorite person, he could think of no other reaction but a hug.
——————————————
Peter Parker was 6 years old, the smartest boy in his grade, and the only reason Aunt May's pie wasn't burned to a crisp.
He thought Mr Frank was a lovely man, and told him so. He was delighted that the man would be his babysitter, and was certain that if the man had both his Aunt and Uncle's approval, there was no possibility he could be dangerous.
After having been babysat by Mr Frank he made an executive decision.
He cleared his throat and walked to the front of the room to make his declaration.
"Mr Frank, you are officially my favorite person, the only exceptions who are likely better than you are Ned, Aunt May, and Uncle Ben, because they are the best people in the world."
Mr Frank smiled at him, and said "I thought your favorite was Iron Man?"
Peter had to think for a moment, but eventually shook his head.
"No, your nicer. The only person I think is as great as you is Dr Bruce Robert Banner, because he is the smartest man in the world, and you are the best."
He was given a hug after he finished talking, and quickly settled into Mr Frank's arms, before beginning a rant about Dr Banner's newest paper on Gamma Radiation's effect on insects.
——————————————
Ned was pretty sure 'Mr Frank' was the Punisher, but the man was awfully nice, and had the approval of all the Parkers, so surely he only killed bad people, for the Parkers have never been wrong about a person.
The Punisher also once shot a man who tries to mug his Lola, so the man couldn't be That bad.
