Wildwood, New Jersey.
College athlete Eren Jaeger was raised by the Internet, Rockstar Games, "Jersey Shore", and a mother obsessed with Bollywood movies and leopard print. Nothing in his life is too unordinary—he is the captain of his soccer team, listens to relatively "okay" music, parties a relatively "okay" amount, knows how to kickflip, hasn't gotten over his ex two years after the breakup, went to high school prom with someone he didn't like and had the average teenage boy's Modest Mouse prom depression afterwards; the usual ruthless duty of a 23-year-old.
However, all it takes for Eren's routine to crash is an unfortunate porn site search, because, in the somewhat uneventful life he has been leading, no one taught him how to cope with his soccer coach being a porn star.
