6/23/2025: Hello friends!!! Turtle 🐢here and it's time for the newest edition of the AOH art gallery commentary. This time as mentioned above, we have 5 artists with new work to showcase. Along with some new art featuring moments from the events of 3.20, we also have a DOUBLE BONUS theme for all of you as we celebrate both Father's Day and Pride month!!!! Also Desthoom continues his series of characters from the TOH multiverse meeting up with cast members from the his series Hazbin Hotel and also as promised last gallery we have a follow up from his Palismen as Humans/Witches drawing with a 5 part series showcasing the Hexsquad meeting their Palismen while under the "Wild Witch Spell" so let's get to it!!!!!!
[The Art of Dragon Warrior]
We kick things off with 3 new pieces from Dragon Warrior and here's DW himself to tell you all about each work starting off with:
EMPEROR BELOS AND GHOST RIDER: PENANCE STARE:
What's the worse punishment you can imagine? Whatever it is, it likely pales in comparison to the ultimate weapon of Marvel's Ghost Rider. For those not as familiar, the Ghost Rider is the Devil's Bounty Hunter of Marvel Lore, being a human host who makes a deal with the devil and a specific kind of demon, A Spirit of Vengeance, possessing and sharing their body. Armed with hellfire and a whip-like weapon, the Rider brings justice to those who hurt the innocent. The most potent ability of the Rider is the Penance Stare, where the Rider locks eyes on a person and makes them feel all the pain, physical and emotional, that they have inflicted on others, wven if they cant normally feel such pain, and the more a person sins, the more the Rider is compelled to give them the Stare. The only main requirement of the Stare is for the target to have a soul, and not feeling regret isnt enough to stop it. To me, this is a punishment Belos deserves, to feel all the pain and suffering he casually inflicted on others over four hundred years. Even if the effect were weakened due to Belos' multiple sets of eyes, he has more than enough sins to his name to ensure this would be an excruciating and long punishment, made even worse as it's given by an actual demon of Hell.

THE HEXSQUAD LGBTQ+ COUPLES: PRIDE DANCE:
For the theme of Pride I decided to draw the Hexsquad that are definitely queer, and because the joke is so big, time to Dress Up and Travel together! (BTW, hope the outfits are good, I am far from a fashion expert). With two exceptions, I put everyone in a nice outfit based on their main magic with their flag abive them in a heart, Willow sporting a floral dress, Amity getting an Abomination-style dress, Skara wearing a dress with music notes on it, and Boscha in a splash-stylr suit because I can't really see her wearing dresses too much(Because I dont know their exact sexualiity I just played it safe with the Sapphic flag). The exceptions were Hunter and Luz, him because I didn't think an animal print suit would look good so he has a lightning pattern, and her of course wearing one of the most iconic outfits in the whole show(despite only being in two scenes). Happy Pride everyone!

FATHERS OF AOH: FATHER'S DAY:
I think this idea just makes sense since shirts like these are not uncommon as Father's Day presents. I mainly stuck with the fathers of the Hexsquad, but added a couple others that I thought up ideas for. The shirts at the bottom are a vit garder to read, so here's what they say from left to right: Stick to your guts; Slime Language Enthusiast(to reference the Blight-Deammone couple's chosen magic); I've got news for you: you're the headline of my day!(for Perry's job) ; I'm with handsome(for both Parks, it just feels like something they'd wear); Marching to the beat of my own drum(since its music related and shows the arc Severine went throug); This is how I rock and roll(This one just wrote itself and is the sole reason I added Lord Mace); and Tuff Guy(both because Mason's rough bit also because tuff is a rock used in construction). I think these dads would definitely enjoy the gifts they got, as well ad simply having such wonderful kids. Now normally this is where Janoha would take over but they have been very busy with their work on No Fate Only Family AKA NFOF which I'll get into momentarily. So since they only have one single new piece this week, I got this. Very simply Janoha produced this new AOH drawing showcasing Luz & Amity embracing while donning their respective Pride color flags for Bisexual and Lesbian respectfully. Great work Janoha and keep up the awesome work on NFOF. [The Art of Desthoom]
Now it's time for me to hand the reigns over to Desthoom and besides some Turtle Notes here and there everything your about to read comes straight from Desthoom's own mouth. BOSCHA ALEMBIC AND VEE NOCEDA: UNEXPECTED HUG OF GRATITUDE: (Turtle Note: The events from this drawing take place during Chapter 57)
Something you thought would never happen considering what Boscha is usually like and how much screen-time Vee has in the show. After Vee helped reunite Boscha with her parents after rescuing them from Alchemist Atelier on an impromptu solo mission, Boscha just got to show her gratitude with a tight hug much to either’s surprise. Now I imagine Vee is one of the few people Boscha won’t be a jackass or even slightly demeaning to after what she did for her. Maybe give her some free tickets to every Grudgby game Boscha is in?

KING CLAWTHORNE-NOCEDA AND ZACHAEL: GODFATHER AND GODSON: (Turtle Note: The events from the next FOUR (4) Drawings all take place during the course of Chapters 75 & 76) (3.20 Parts 9 & 10)
It is quite ironic how Angels were once considered the slayers of Titans. Yet the last Titan has his fate intertwined with them. Before there was Luz, King had another Angel looking out for him before he was born. Once a refugee Angel who lost his family to Demons, he was taken in by King’s parents who made him a godfather to their unborn child. He guarded King’s egg zealously but passed away by before he could see King be born. And now in his darkest hour, being sealed into crystal and trapped under the bottom of the sea while cursed with the Hexsquad, King finally gets to see his Godfather (in the metaphorical flesh) who is ready to help his Godson finally embrace who he truly is.

Speaking of Father’s Day, here is Luz doing what she always wanted to do in her entire life, having a pleasant meal with her departed fathers. She always missed her father Manny’s famous Cinnamon Pancakes (Camila tried but never could get them right) and finally got to see Michael who died before she was born. These two fine men are just happy to spend one last time with their beloved daughter. A heartwarming reprieve of peace between the absolutely horrendous shitshow prior and the grand conclusion right after this.

LUZ NOCEDA-CLAWTHORNE, RASIEL, AND THE DIVIDER: EMBRACE YOURSELF:
I thought that once the Divider rejected Luz’s offer of redemption after their final meeting, he just became another oppressive Tyrant to be sealed away for the good of the world. But upon diving into his subconscious, Luz and Rasiel find that at his core The Divider is just a traumatized child possessed by an eldritch spirit that is feasting on his despair, railroading him on this dark path whenever he has doubts. Luz and Rasiel were able to reach out to him, giving him the comfort and understanding he vitally needed millenia ago.

RASIEL THE DIVIDER AND RANI: REUNITED BEYOND DEATH:
As much as The Divider went overboard with his Project Paradise Plans, they only came about after having to witness the brutal death of his beloved mother and having to live eternally with the knowledge that he would never ever see her again in afterlife. This was a reunion long, long overdue that they both desperately needed. Rani knew that her baby boy was never a monster, just someone who desperately wanted to help those in need. It was not his fault, she unfairly forced upon him a responsibility of saving the world he was quite simply not fit for. But she only wanted her child to live like any good parent would. With the help of his Titan family, the Divider finally recognized what he has become and is ready to repent.
[RASIEL THE DIVIDER AND RANI: REUNITED BEYOND DEATH]
LYRA DEAMONNE-BLIGHT AND HER ORACLE SPIRITS: THE MAJOR ARCANA:
Introducing Lyra Deamonne-Blight and every single one of her Guardian Spirits. It was a great challenge and pleasure to finally draw out each of her Spirits who each embody the Major Arcana of her Divine Tarot. Along with some new recruits she might get after the main story. Sadly I am not allowed to go into detail about them as OHA is saving their introductions for some side-stories he has planned.
First, right next to Lyra we have Shade who was the spirit of Belos’s Grimwalker he aborted who is her first Spirit The Fool. Next we have the Metyr Family with Osran who embodies The World along with his wife Ophelia and daughter Eusapia who represents Judgement and the Sun respectively. Next is the first Spirit, the man in the green robes with a black tail who represents the Magician. Next is a beautiful female spirit who represents the High Priestess surrounded by her two mates Nitin and Shine standing left and right of her who provide her with love and support even in death. Nitin, an Ice Acolyte who has been devoted to her ever since laying eyes upon her when they were both served their respective Titan Orders. And Shine, a Fire Acolyte who hailed from a foreign Titan and was a fierce rebel who opposed Belos’s brutal War of Unification 50 years ago. Standing right in front of them is the Hierophant spirit. Next is the Hermit Spirit, Devil Spirit, Death Spirit. And then there is Verana, a Saluki Lycan Demon who is actually Golsi and Lynden’s ancestor who was a famed therapist in her time who died and lingered as a spirit to continue her duties with Osran having her treat many of his members in secret at the Oracle Headquarters. Because reading each of these Guardian Spirits and their horrific backstories was not fun and they needed a Therapist more than ever.
Another line from behind Nitin, High Priestess Spirit, and Shine. We have a Spirit couple who represent The Lovers, The Justice Spirit, The Wheel of Fortune spirit, the Chariot Spirit, the Star Spirit, and the Moon Spirit.
Finally the last line right behind everyone else, we have the Empress Spirit, The Emperor Spirit, the Tower Spirit, the Strength Spirit, and the Temperance Spirit.

Remember that drawing I made of what the Hexsquad Palisman may look as Witches inspired by that Moringmark comic. Now Turtle wanted me to make a whole series of them meeting the Hexsquad. So we have Luz and Amity meeting Stringbean and Ghost. Luz is beyond amazed at how adorable her wonderful power noodle is as a person with Amity of the same mind. Ghost meanwhile acting like a caring older sister to her owner, be the one giving her friendly head pats this time.

Willow and Gus meet their Palismans as people. And it is almost surprising how well they resemble each other despite them being foster Palisman. With Clover being a strong and dependable woman who got her Queen’s back always. While Emmiline looking like some chill hipster despite having the personality of an aristocrat making sure he remains a gallant gentleman.

SKARA CADENCE, BOSCHA ALEMBIC, MELODY, AND MAYA: HUMANOID PALISMAN MEET AND GREET PART 3:
Here are some Palisman we never saw as people in that comic meeting the people they bond with. And needless to say, their Palisman look a lot like their masters. I imagine Maya as some Boisterous buff jock looking to tussle with people to prove her strength, even if it is her Owner. A challenge Boscha is only too happy to take her up on. And also Melody as a graceful elegant musician looking to make some wonderful music with Skara.

Another Palisman who was also not designed as a person but didn’t even exist in the show proper. Matt be meeting his Palisman Pebbles with Bria in tow confused at what she is looking at. (Bria and Rumba have not yet bonded so that saves the trouble of having to come up with a new Witch form for the Palisman as well). Anyways, Pebbles be looking like some quiet mellow fellow unless there is food nearby. Maybe Matt be looking to treat his Palisman to a snack bar some time.

And then we have the Hexsquad siblings Hunter and Lyra meeting their Palismans who are also siblings to each other. Flapjack being a cool big bro to his peppy upbeat sister Waffles like Hunter is to Lyra. I really love how Flapjack gets to live in this story instead of dying like in the show. Turtle told me it would be funny if Hunter and Lyra wore their respective Bird costumes while meeting Flapjack and Waffles. But I forgot about that and also thought it would be a distraction. Sorry, maybe next time.

VEE NOCEDA AND VEROSIKA: THE BETTER V'S:
Here we have some more Hellaverse crossover drawings. I especially been a huge fan of this amazing TOH x Hellaverse story called A Divine (Romantic) Comedy you got read.
Anyways, this is a surprising encounter that happened when a Succubus Pop star decides to crash a Basilisk shapeshifter’s house party just to distract herself from a bad break-up. And that is when she meets Vee who asks what she is doing there and hears about her troubles, wondering if maybe she could do with having actual friends who care about her as a person instead of a popstar. All the same, Verosika gives Vee some much-needed advice taking the plunge in falling for someone she obviously has a crush on regardless of any body image issues (that comes with being a shapeshifting snake) she may have.
I didn’t think they would have much in common besides their names starting with a V but it worked so well here.

MANNY NOCEDA AND LILITH MORNINGSTAR: BELOVED AND MISSED:
Probably spoilers for people who are not that far into the story. But just as Camila and Lucifer are starting a relationship while bonding over missing loves. Said loves make a surprising meeting upstairs when Manny Noceda ends up in Heaven where he belongs. He was having the time of his (after)life and just as he was picking up the latest copy of Cosmic Frontier (written by the original author after their death), that is when he meets Lilith Morningstar who is a really tall and graceful woman (especially compared to Camila). And I just realized Lucifer is a short king. Now what is Lilith doing there with Manny is something you are going to have to read for yourself.
[MANNY NOCEDA AND LILITH MORNINGSTAR: BELOVED AND MISSED]
EMILIEL AND EMILY: CHERUB AND SERAPH:
This is a crossover meeting that has been long overdue, especially when we found out Emiliel the Cherub Angel of the Nexsquad is actually based on Emily from Hazbin Hotel. I imagine Emily would see herself as a kind mother or loving sister to this little Cherub though Emiliel already has a mom in Lazuliel (not yet official but it is only a matter of time).
Wonder what it would be like if Emily was part of the Divine Realm Union. Maybe she could have been Uriel’s Ophanim. Now she may not like the Union that much either with its incredibly stringent laws and lack of familial attachments. But for whatever problems it may have, ordering yearly genocides is not one of them. Nor being so impossibly strict that very few souls actually get to Heaven. (With the Angels not knowing or even caring about that).So yeah the Divine Realm Union may not be as shiny as they say they are but not totally terrible like the Hellaverse’s version of Heaven is. I am sure Emily would be instrumental in helping reform the society as a shining ray of light on the same level as Charlie.

EMIRA BLIGHT, VINEY LEONIS, LOONA, AND OCTAVIA: BEASTIE BESTIES:
I am obligated to make this drawing when you realize Emira and Loona have the same voice actress. And also wanted to bring in their best friends Viney and Octavia as well. Emira and Loona have a lot in common for being a Witch and a Hellhound. Both of them are mischievous gremlins who get a rise out of mocking people which is a cover-up for the intense pain they have in their pasts along with having a complicated relationship with their father who loves them but aren’t the best at connecting with them. But are still trying for their sakes.
And surprisingly Viney Leonis of AOH would get along swell with Octavia. Both of them being harshly shunned because of who their parents are. Viney having a Cait Sith for a parent which got her bullied as a hybrid with one jerk even trying to cut off her tail. And Octavia’s social life being ruined because her father had sex with an Imp. Wonder what she is blushing for? Either she is scared of Loona being a Hellhound as a Cait Sith or being heavily aroused by her on top of sounding like her girlfriend.
[EMIRA BLIGHT, VINEY LEONIS, LOONA, AND OCTAVIA: BEASTIE BESTIES]
ALADOR BLIGHT, DARIUS DEAMONNE, BLITZO, AND STOLAS: GAY DADS:
Just for Father’s Day, we got two pairs of Fathers who are gay for each other. Never thought a pair of Witches as well as an Imp and a Goeta would have so much in common. Alador and Blitz, one a mad scientist and another a hired assassin, are two morally complicated fathers who love their kids with all their hearts but aren’t the best at expressing it. Although they are still trying their best for their sake.
Then there is Darius and Stolas who seem like prim and snobby Nobles who preen their noses at people but are much softer and more vulnerable than they would admit. They do love their respective partners but there was a lot of heartbreak and grief that got in the way of that. But Alador and Darius were able to finally make it work between them. And Thankfully in A Divine (Romantic Comedy), Blitz and Stolas were able to confess their love for each other and actually make it official. Not like in the show that we don’t want to get into.

EMPEROR BELOS AND LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR: DISGUSTING THE DEVIL:
I really enjoyed making this one. A certain putrid slimeball ending up all the way down here after his ultimate demise, finding his rightful place in Hell, much to his absolute denial and insisting he does not belong here. But Lucifer ain’t having it. Eda was right about what Belos did making God want to puke at the sight of it. But little did she know even the Devil is disgusted at what Belos has done. You are cooked when even Lucifer thinks you are a horrible person.
Belos: I should not be here! God must have made a mistake!
Lucifer: Check.
Belos: I was merely doing what any pure servant of God would do: Slaughtering those sinful witches and demon!
Lucifer: Check.
Belos: And they deserve it after they stole my beloved brother away from me!
Lucifer: Double check.
Belos: After I got a taste of an Angels power I knew that I needed the most potent source of their power....especially after they chose to ignore their duty to God and sided with sinners!
Lucifer: Oooh triple check. Congratulations!
Belos: Have you been listening this entire time?!
Lucifer: Kind of hard not to with how loud your screeching is. Either way congratulations cause you just won Seven Deadly Sins Bingo! And your prize? A literal mountain of......RUBBER DUCKIES! snap
Belos: looks up What? gets chained to the floor WHAT?!
Lucifer: Oh and one more thing. Never imply that I would associate with such a vile and putrid thing such as yourself ever again. Or else I will make sure you come to know me very intimately.

FATHERS AND CHILDREN OF AOH: A FATHERLY EMBRACE:
Just like the one I made for Mother’s Day, I also drew this to celebrate Father’s Day in honor of all the loving and caring fathers we have in AOH. Sorry, about Severin, Gilbert, Harvey, Perry, etc. there are just too many fathers to put here and I had to choose the most plot-relevant ones. And just so you know considering Luz’s newfound powers, this is officially canon. Yes, especially Michael, Manny, and Orion.
So in the middle, we have Manny and Michael hugging their daughters Luz and Vee like they always wanted. Luz wanted nothing more than to spend more time with the fathers she sorely missed while Vee gets to know the fathers she never knew and find out just how much they accept her as their daughter as well.
From the left, we have Edalyn and Lilith hugging their father Dell who is so proud of them. They all have made a lot of mistakes in the past. But having them in their lives would never be one of them. And they are done letting that split them apart.
And there is Orion hugging King and Samael. He is the kind of father who blessed his goddaughter for the kindness he showed his son King whom he is so proud and deems worthy of his name. And also Samael who became a brother to King. Which is surprising considering Orion sacrificed his life sealing Samael away thinking he was keeping King safe. But now here we are. Goes to show people can change if they are given the chance.
To the right, we have Alador Blight hugging his kids (one of them an adopted cyborg). Alador Blight wanted nothing more than to be the father his kids needed and after cutting the toxic branch out (good riddance), he finally has all the time in the world to be that father. Amity, Edric, Emira, and Nicole are so happy he is there for them. (Even if Emira is questioning why Darius is there since she and her brother call him Mom)
And then finally, Darius hugging his darling children who are a pair of Grimwalkers, Hunter and Lyra. Quite ironic considering he looked down on them in the past as former loyal stooges of Belos. But he didn’t hesitate to embrace them as his kids once they cast aside their masks and found out who they were meant to be.

Celebrating Pride Month, here is the first of the series where we celebrate the Bisexuals of AOH. Look no further than Luz, Eda, and Hunter who are all confirmed to crush on both guys and girls alike. At least before meeting their respective loves of their lives. Sorry, after watching Deadpool and Wolverine, this song has been stuck in my head for months at a time. I imagine that Luz, Eda, and Hunter would definitely be doing a dance like this for their partners because it is just so catchy.

Here is another piece celebrating Non-Binaries who identify as neither male or female but themselves. Now what does a Bard Witch, a Human Goth, and a Lightning Dragon priest have in common besides being non-binary and being totally loyal and courageous partners to their loves. Absolutely nothing. But still thought this was a cool piece to make. Definitely did not take after The Matrix due to trying to make a pun on Non-Binary and Binary Code. But Raine truly is The One. Guess this would be a taste of what we have to expect from the next fanart showcase.

LILITH CLAWTHORNE, RASIEL THE DIVIDER, AND HOOTY CLAWTHORNE: LOVE AND THE AROMANTIC:
Who says you have to be in love with someone to get some Love? Not these three Aromantics. Lilith happy to embrace who she is while Rasiel is finally back to being the nice person he used to be, if a bit more whole. Lilith and Rasiel are confirmed to be aromantic while not so sure about Hooty who is probably just celebrating for the sake of his two besties Lulu and Raspberry. But for our sanity, let’s hope he is as well.
Also fun fact OHA is Aromantic but that does not change the fact he still loves his family and his friends very much. And he also loves you and me and all his supportive fans who have been following this story zealously for years.

THE TRIADS OF AOH AND AMPHIBIA: THREE TIMES THE LOVE:
And Three’s the Magic number, especially when it comes to love as these Throuples demonstrate.
First, we have the Dragon Trio which is something I never expected to witness when reading this story at first but all too happy for it. Zara once being a frosty ferocious Ice Wyrm who tried to kill Luz for being an Angel. But she since melted into a beautiful graceful Ice Princess thanks to the comfort of her warm burning hunk of love and dashing noble spark of joy. And what do you know, they might be having some dragon babies of their own.
Then we have Luz’s parents, a kind Angel but vicious mama bear, a curious and imaginative Human, and a courageous and heroic Grimwalker. They loved each other very much and expected nothing but a happy life ahead of them. Sadly, a pair of abhorrent and spiteful Witch and Puritan killed that deam dead in the water. But thanks to their wonderous daughter who they were beyond lucky to have, they may finally have this moment once more.
And then finally and shockingly, we have the Calamity Trio from Amphibia. A loving loyal trio of girls who gone through hell and came out the other side as better people who can truly be the friends they deserve to each other. The first Throuple I have ever witnessed and now has been living in my head rent-free for years. Sadly it is also the only thing I bother paying attention to from Amphibia and forgot about the Frogs. No matter how many years it might take, I will give AOA a shot just to see how OHA writes them.

You ever heard that phrase, “Be Gay, Do Crime?” well these people all took that to heart. And if doing crime means rebelling against a tyrannical despot trying to take over and destroy their way of life as they know it. Then CRIME ALL THE WAY, BABY! EDA WOULD BE PROUD.
So we have The Blight Twins, two of the Magic Mixers, and two of the Hexsquad proudly embracing a life of crime and looking damn good while they are at it. Turtle been wanting to see me draw 80s fashion and I am happy to finally take that suggestion and run with it. The 80s was also when the Gay Rights movement really took off. What a way to end this showcase, huh?

Finally we close out this week's gallery with this long lost discovered drawing from Sky Storm showing their take on Amity under the Fusion with Ghost. This is without question one of the BEST versions of this I have seen and who knows? Maybe SS might have a 1/2 dozen more fusion drawings in them. Great job my friend!!!!!
