Chapter Text

Autobots- A political faction formed by Orion Pax as he challenged the status quo of Cybertron. The Autobots would soon become warring against the Decepticons after Megatron began his assault.

Optimus Prime- Optimus Prime was once known as Orion Pax where he was a data clerk for the Hall of Records with his mother Codexa, when he was Orion Pax he was optimistic and hopeful, always having big plans for the future even if not many believed in him. After losing his mom due to the coup his best friend started Orion realized he must stand up for what is right. Orion Pax would take severe damage and be rebuilt as Optimus Prime after being gifted the Matrix of Leadership by Alpha Trion.

Bumblebee- Bumblebee is the scout of the group and a minibot, Bumblebee may be small but he certainly proves his uses as an Autobot. Bumblebee was originally a middle class mechanic who didn't do much.

Arcee- Arcee was a lowly street rat with her twin brother Hotshot, both would illegally drag race but would be caught one day by Barricade and Prowl. Barricade would use excessive force badly wounding both the twins, Prowl would take them to Ratchet and Wheeljack for bandaging, Arcee wouldn't become an Autobot until learning of Windblade's death.

Ratchet- Ratchet is the Autobots chief medic but before the Great War he was a medic in Iacon who'd repair and heal anyone no matter the social class. Ratchet doesn't mainly fight in battles, instead staying in the back and healing bots in need. 

Ironhide- Ironhide is the Autobots weapon expert and “muscle” Ironhide was a high class military soldier but would end up siding with Orion Pax on his views of the lower class and would join against Decepticons when they're time arose. Ironhide would later fall in love with Chromia after meeting her when the Autobots would return to Cybertron.

Hotshot- Hotshot is the twin brother to Arcee, both are racers in the streets of Iacon and do drag racing. Hotshot would be attacked by cop Barricade and suffer major injuries. Hotshot would join the Decepticons initially but then would join the side of the Autobots after realizing his twin sister had joined their side.

Ultra Magnus- Ultra Magnus is the third in command of the Autobots, Ultra Magnus begun life as a transformer named Dion. After the war broke out Dion would be shot and presumed dead but using the last bit of his energy the warrior Magnum would merge with Dion making his body into an armor for Dion to wield at any time. Ultra Magnus is brave and powerful, he is willing to defend all the other Autobots in the war.

Decepticons- Decepticons formed after Megatron felt betrayed by Orion Pax and believed he could only convince Cybertron via excessive force.

Megatron- Megatron was once known as D-16, he was a miner for one of Cybertron's moons but would be bought by a higher class citizen to fight in The Pits of Kaon where he was raised by Gilthor and Termagax, Megatron would draw inspiration from the Prime, Megatronus and named himself Megatron. Megatron would soon be bought by Orion Pax though Orion was quick to release D-16 and help him gain citizenship and rights as a Cybertronian. Megatron would see no positive results and began to believe brute force was the only way and would mentor under Tarn to be a very powerful and fierce warrior and would begin his assault on Cybertron. Though he would accidentally gun down Codexa when he had meant to kill Alpha Trion.

Thunderblast- Thunderblast was once a normal Cybertronian with a lust for power no matter how she gains it, she views Megatron as her “one true love” though he only views her as a soldier and has many times thrown her on the front lines hoping she is shot down but she seems to always come back to the arms of Megatron.

Starscream- Starscream was a grand scientist on Cybertron being revered for his amazing discoveries and being considered the next Alchemist Prime, Starscream always held a front always pretending to be a compassionate scientist who only cared for Cybertron’s advancements when in actuality all he cared for was making himself look good. Starscream joined the Decepticons due to his belief that they’d instantly win the war.

Soundwave- Soundwave is the Communications Officer and spy for the Descepticons, Soundwave is loyal to Megatron and his cause after Megatron spared him in the Pits of Kaon, he would then feel indebted to Megatron and believed he must serve him and his cause for life. Soundwave has gained the unique ability to combine with his Minicons and make them into armor with each Minicon offering Soundwave a different ability in combat.

Shockwave- Shockwave is an insane Decepticon scientist and no one is really sure of his origins but everyone knows what he does. Shockwave finds pleasure in pulling people apart and reassembling them. Shockwave is filled with malice and most of the Decepticons even fear him for his chaos.

Pretenders- The Pretenders were created by the Quintessons to be the perfect bio weapon designed to assimilate the species the Quintessons wished to destroy. But two of the Pretenders had escaped the Quintessons and landed on earth wishing to live a more peaceful life as humans.

Metalhawk 

Minerva- Minerva was meant to be a medics officer for the Pretenders in case a mission went south but when she and fellow Pretender Metalhawk broke free from their captors Metalhawk and Minerva would go to earth and live their lives as humans but when the Autobots need help the Pretenders must realize they are more than meets the eye. Minerva pretends to be a freshman schoolgirl with Metalhawk pretending to be her father when they are in human form.

Quintessons- A bio engineered race made from the DNA of Quintus Prime and organic matter creating the first Quintesson named Quintessa who would betray her creator and merge with a far off planet creating more of her race.

Quintessa- Quintessa is the Queen and Goddess to the Quintessons, she is considered a false Primus as she had merged with a planet to become Quintesson Prime, the new home world for an army of Quintessons.

Quintesson X- Quintesson X is a parasite along with his siblings Y and Z. They are Quintessons with the unique ability to merge with a Cybertronian and corrupt their body to fit Quintesson physiology.

Quintesson Y- Quintesson Y is a parasite along with his siblings X and Z. They are Quintessons with the unique ability to merge with a Cybertronian and corrupt their body to fit Quintesson physiology.

Quintesson Z- Quintesson Z is a parasite along with his siblings Y and X. They are Quintessons with the unique ability to merge with a Cybertronian and corrupt their body to fit Quintesson physiology.

Femme

Elita-One- Elita-One was once the dainty, cutesy Ariel who was madly in love with her boyfriend Orion Pax. Ariel would be shot down by Megatron as she attempted to protect Orion Pax. Ariel and Orion would be rebuilt as Elita-One and Optimus Prime, now no longer believing she needed to be protected Elita would prove to be a powerful and fierce warrior who would stay on Cybertron to face the Decepticons. Elita would soon find more female transformers like herself and would create a mini army against the Decepticons remaining on Cybertron.

Chromia- Chromia is the tough willed and loud mouth of the group who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Chromia believes it was her fault Windblade was killed and for that shuns anyone who tries to get close to her as she is afraid of getting hurt again, though on occasion she does have a great bond with Moonracer who she does consider a little sister though would never admit that out loud.

Firestar- Firestar the cocky and arrogant spunk of the group, Firestar tends to be snobbish and make things about her and how great she is which usually leads to her and Elia arguing. Firestar has high respect for Elita and hates arguing with her but also never believes she's in the wrong.

Lancer- Lancer was a great young scientist now turned warrior under Elita-One, Lancer follows Elita-One's orders without question and is always prepared to protect her sisters in arms.

Greenlight- Greenlight was once a historian and scientist on Cybertron, she loves her “sisters” and she is the only one to refer to Elita-One as “Mommy Elita” Greenlight is the second youngest of the group. Greenlight is very defensive of her family and is willing to fight tooth and nail to protect them despite her small stature. Greenlight and Moonracer are the closest of the “sisters” and are the two who spend the most time together when they get a break to do so.

Moonracer- Moonracer is the youngest of the female transformers Elita-One leads, Moonracer is very clingy and meek compared to her sisters. Elita doesn't think it is safe for Moonracer so she tends to make Moonracer fight in the back as a sniper so she has less chance of being hurt during battle.

Wreckers- The Wreckers are a subdivision of Autobots who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Warpath- Warpath before the war was a usual soldier easy to discard and replace but Warpath survived for years and would even form the Wreckers when the Great War happened, he is bashful and blood hungry but most importantly he has care for his soldiers and is quick to doubt Nemesis Prime is a true Wrecker due to his past but he does learn to overcome it and he and the rest of his crew become stronger.

Bulkhead- Bulkhead is a large and powerful Wrecker who is also a big softie, Bulkhead is very compassionate towards the humans he meets and has trust in everyone he fights with. Bulkhead is the bulkiest and tallest member of the group standing at a height of about 45 ft tall. Bulkhead carries an array of weapons with him, guns, canons, bombs, and a wrecking ball. 

Springer- Springer is the one triple changer of the Wreckers, Springer is good with guns and swords and mainly wields a sword and his preferred alt mode is his helicopter form. Springer tends to play it smart during battle and never really acts out of hand.

Nemesis Prime/Black Convoy- Created to be a clone that could rival the original Nemesis Prime is a force to be reckoned with, Nemesis had the ability to access any area Prime had clearance to for the sole fact they are genetically identical and scanners glitch and only persevere Nemesis as Optimus. Nemesis would become good after meeting Arcee where she would show him he could be a hero instead of following what he was coded to do.

False Primes- After Optimus Prime and many Autobots fled the planet in hopes of finding a new planet to relocate to, the Autobots on Cybertron became desperate and in need of a leader three would rise.

Sentinel Prime- Sentinel Prime is not a clone of Optimus but merely a transformer who created a copy of the Matrix of Leadership and claimed himself to be the next Prime. Sentinel would die to a Cybertronian named Proximus Nova who would claim the false Matrix for his own.

Nova Prime- Nova Prime is the second false Prime to grace Cybertron, Nova believed he was a God and would be the one to “end the war” Nova Prime actually betrayed the Autobot cause and believed the Decepticons and them could bargain, as peace came to Cybertron Nova would rule without question though Elita-One was one of the only few to have her suspicions with the false Prime.

Toxitron- Toxitron was the combination of Optimus energon, toxic waste, and a protoform all being combined and being sent back to Cybertron via a space bridge before Shockwave could dissect him. Toxitron would land on Cybertron and quickly join Elita-One as he had fragmented pieces of Optimus Prime's memory, this gave Elita one hope and together they'd take down Nova Prime. Toxitron would later realize he had no purpose and deactivated himself believing he couldn't and shouldn't replace Prime.

13 Primes

Megatronus Prime- Megatronus Prime was considered the Fallen Prime as he had betrayed his family to be upgraded by Unicron, this would result in however for him to grow mad. Megatronus would return to his siblings begging for forgiveness and to prove himself worthy sacrificed his being to send Unicron into a space bridge in the far reaches of the universe.

Onyx Prime- Onyx Prime was unique of his siblings due to his unique and special ability to transform into a dragon, Onyx would create the Predacons who were at first simple minded beasts who would then grow to be just as sophisticated as Onyx himself. 

Prima- The first being to walk the land of Cybertron, Prima was gifted with the Matrix of Leadership as a hilt. Prima is very peaceful and like all other Primes resides within the Matrix of Leadership and can act as a power up for Optimus Prime when need be gifting him the Star Saber. Prima was calm and collected and loved his brothers and sister.

Solus Prime- Solus Prime was the one female Prime of the original 13. Solus was the creator of all the Prime's weapons, Solus was exceptionally close with Megatronus and considered him to be her big brother that is until his betrayal. Solus would die when Megatronus went mad after being stabbed in the chest.

Senators- The Senators ruled portions of Cybertron before being destroyed by Tarn and Megatron in their upbringing.

Tarn- Tarn is very authoritative and believes himself to be the perfect being and after finding a very emotional D-16, he realized he could mold the bot to his liking. Tarn would train Megatron to be the greatest warrior and when the time came would sit back and watch the carnage burn as Megatron began the great war.

Windblade- Windblade was the senator who could do it all, be a powerful warrior and great leader for all of the people she governed. Windblade was bodyguarded by Chromia and the two clearly had a thing for each other, but when the usurpation commenced her death happened as her spark was ripped out and absorbed into Tarn giving him wings like hers.

Perceptor- Perceptor was the greatest scientist in all of Cybertron, working as a senator he planned to make Cybertron eco friendly to other planets though he would meet his untimely demise.

Miscellaneous 

Lockdown 

Storm King- Storm King is the combiner made from Acid Storm, Nova Storm, and Ion Storm. Nova and Ion Storm would make up the legs while Acid Storm was the arms and chest

Ratchet, man the engines, Ironhide man the turrets" Optimus Prime had ordered, the leader of the Autobots stood watching as the Ark attempted to pass through the space bridge to the other side of the universe. 

As they passed through the wormhole the entire team had seen earth in all its glory, "wow...what in Primus is this?" Arcee questioned. Optimus set a hand on the younger bot's shoulder "our new home" the Ark had made it's down to the surface of the planet. The Autobots all stepped out of the Ark, there was nothing but dense woods, Optimus took a step and felt a crunch beneath him, the commander looked down and saw he had crushed a doe and its fawn look at its crushed mother with fear and confusion.

"Optimus....?" Ultra Magnus asked slowly, Optimus looked down at the now bloody grass beneath him. He was to blame for such things, "our first day on our new potential home and I already...harmed such innocent life" the Prime took his metallic finger and gently poked the squashed deer. "It's dead..." 

The other Autobots were silent as they watched their leader dig through the dirt beneath him and then place the dead doe in the the hole he had dug. Optimus let out a sigh, "we must find alt modes to blend in with the surrounding areas, Teletraan-1 scan alt modes for us" a small drone appeared from the Ark and began scanning vehicles in the nearby area. Optimus Prime became a firetruck, Ultra Magnus a car carrier, Prowl a police car, Ironhide a van, Arcee a motorcycle, Ratchet an ambulance, and Hotshot a sports car. All the Autobots admired how their forms changed to accommodate their new transformations. 

Meanwhile the Nemesis which was piloted by the Decepticons had also crash landed on earth as they chased after the Autobots, the spacecraft had crashed into a mountain. Megatron the leader of the Decepticons jumped out of the Nemesis and smirked, "ah a new planet right for the taking. Soundwave scan for Energon" Soundwave transformed into a Cybertronian satellite, "energon detected. Planet's abundance: 100% of natural energon deep within it's crust" Megatron's smirk widened as Soundwave said those readings. “Now I say it is time we are acquainted with our surroundings” Megatron floated into the sky and found a military base, it was gone within a flash with his fusion canon “find whatever you can to scan, we will take upon the strongest forms and harvest this planet for all of its energon” Megatron floated down and scanned a tank, a stealth bomber, and a submarine 

and soon enough all the other Decepticons did the same.

Soundwave scanned a helicopter, Shockwave scanned a tank, Starscream a fighter jet, the Rain Makers following the same, Barricade scanned a police cruiser, and Thunderblast scanned a speedboat. 

“For the glory of Cybertron!” Megatron shouted before shooting at the sky.

The Autobots all walked through the woods “Prime hasn’t spoken at all since the incident, you think he’s okay?” Arcee asked Ultra Magnus. The larger bot gave a shrug and sighed, he didn't know what to tell her. Hotshot turned to face his leader, "Optimus...are you okay?" he asked slowly. The firetruck didn't respond, he kept walking. “Prime please just talk to us” Prowl said as he walked beside the leader of the Autobots. "Let's just keep moving" Optimus replied in a soft tone.

They all walked a little more and then found a human city, “it’s beautiful” Arcee said quietly, Optimus stared at the glimmering lights of the city “it is best not to interact with the life of the planet, best not to let them be harmed in our war, if we keep out of the way of humans perhaps we can live in peace here until we get back to Cybertron one day. I know that I will not harm any more innocent beings and if you feel the same, keep away from humans" the Autobots nodded, "understood, sir" they replied in unison.

Optimus began walking back to the Ark “Magnus, explore more of the area. I wish to be alone for now” Ultra Magnus looked at his long time friend with huge concern in his optics. They all watched as Prime walked back to the Ark. Optimus went to the main computer and tapped a button and then appeared an image of his Conjux Endura, his Elita-One. “My dear Elita I promise once we return to Cybertron I will never leave your side again” Optimus sighed before tapping the button again and a hologram of Codexa, his mother figure appeared “Codexa, it is all my fault….everything, if I was stronger you both would be here. I’m sorry mother, I wasn’t strong enough.”

The other Autobots sat on top of a cliff looking at the city below, “I wonder if we’ll at least be able to meet some humans” Arcee pondered, Prowl crossed his arms “you heard Prime’s orders no interaction with them, we can’t risk innocent beings fighting in a war they have no part in” Prowl reinstated. The Autobots then heard the sound of a fusion canon being fired, they looked and there stood Megatron “hello Autobots” Megatron fired at the Autobots “Soundwave superior Autobots inferior” Soundwave stomped on Hotshot, the larger Cybertronian’s foot slammed against his face. Ultra Magnus fired his missiles at Shockwave and the other Decepticons, Starscream and the Rain Makers then dropped from the sky, Starscream shot Ultra Magnus and Prowl with his null ray. “Nova Storm, Ion Storm, Acid Storm! Combine to form Storm King!” Storm King fired a giant ball made from the material the three Rain Makers use.

”This pathetic, I was expecting more of a fight” Megatron continued to fire his fusion canon at Ultra Magnus “where is Optimus?” Megatron questioned. Ultra Magnus gave no answer “you can destroy us Megatron, I won’t reveal the location of the Ark or my leader” Hotshot looked at him like he was crazy “hey he said it I don’t wanna die!” Megatron was then shot in the back by Optimus Prime, “Optimus!” Arcee cheered, “let them go D-16” Megatron paused for a moment before firing at Optimus though the leader of the Autobots dodged, “it’s Megatron!” Megatron attacked Prime but he continued to dodge “I will not harm you D-16, despite everything you are my friend and I know you are inside of there still” Megatron fired at Optimus and then stomped on his leg “you have done more than harm me Prime, you promised me everything and then couldn’t deliver” Megatron’s hand turned into a sword “you promised me freedom! You promised me everything and yet you lied!” Megatron stabbed Optimus in the chest. Optimus grabbed the blade and broke, standing up and bleeding energon, he panted “please D, think of the good times” Optimus fired his ion blaster at Megatron shooting him in the chest right in the T-cog “Deceptions fall back!” 

Megatron attempted to transform into stealth bomber mode but he glitched out and fell as he floated through the air, he fell to the ground damaged.

Elita-One Epilogue

Elita-One had gathered a group of resistance fighters to all help fight against the now Decepticon occupied Cybertron. Elita walked through her barracks and saw Moonracer huddled up and shuttering, “the gunfire is scary” she spoke softly, Elita let out a warm smile and set a hand on the younger bot’s shoulder. The older bot sat next to her “it’ll be okay, that’s the point of a resistance. I promise you won’t ever get hurt on my watch, I promise” the younger Cybertronian hugged Elita tight.
