Summary
Tommy could heal Phil, that was no issue. The issue lay in Tommy surviving. He still felt weak from healing Techno’s stab wound from the day before, and even weaker from Wilbur’s gunshot wound the day before that. Realistically, Tommy couldn’t heal Phil in a way that would save him, not without Tommy dying.
Techno started yelling.
“Fix him, Theseus! He’s dying. Do what you’re good at! This is the only thing you’re good for!”
OR
TommyInnit is a healer. Phil is gravely injured. Angst ensues!

Summary
Tommy is learning to live with what's happened to him since he had been forcibly taken into space, but it isn't easy. He doesn't want his crew to see him weak, under any circumstances, and letting them see him sick is even worse. The last thing he wants is to go under the knife ever again, even at the hands of someone he considers to be his brother.
