Summary
In an effort to get out from under the thumb of his step-father, Charles chooses to become a courtesan for several minor nobles in King Erik's court. It is not long before he attracts the eye of the young king, and the Cardinal who holds the young king's ear. Charles spends months working to secure his place as King Erik's favorite and to regain his father's title of Merchant Prince. Charles hopes to disprove the old adage that once you enter the king's bed, you have nowhere to go but down.

Summary
Bucky Barnes always assumed he'd live a fairly normal life. He's a history teacher after all, a normal guy from Brooklyn with a passion for the arts and humanities, who wants to share that passion with a new generation. A chance encounter with Steve Rogers uproots that normal life, however, and sends Bucky on a very different path than the one he'd always imagined.
Things tend to get complicated when you date Steve Rogers, living legend, Actual Hero; after spending some time in Hydra captivity, Bucky's faced with a long road to recovery. With the support of his loving boyfriend and the friends he's made in the Avengers, however, Bucky might come to realize that maybe, just maybe, he was made to be a hero, too.

Summary
After the events in DC and on the helicarriers, and the realization that his friend Bucky Barnes is still alive, Captain Steve Rogers swears that he will do anything he can to find him. It is easier said than done, as Steve searches desperately for any hint or clue that will lead him to his friend. Steve searches, but Bucky does not want to be found. And so begins their game of cat and mouse, as Steve does everything in his power to convince Bucky to come home.
