Summary
A rewrite of The Walking Dead, in the A/B/O world. However I am mostly focusing on Daryl, and his life as an Omega. I still wanted to clearly have the world itself be A/B/O. There is canon divergence, a few pairings that change and of course just some fun times. I don’t own any of the characters, the world in which A/B/O is set is clearly not my own but there will be some of my own A/B/O canon. I hope you enjoy it!
Just so you know - I am going to be attempting all the season, timelines will be changed (who knows the true TWD timeline anyway), relationships will be swapped, ages maybe fudged, and some things may be fudged or swapped, characters may be in a place they weren’t or removed from a place they were. Characters will live/die earlier later
A note -
Omegas are extremely rare
Betas have been able to sometimes successfully carry an Alphas pup to full term but it was rare in the world of hospitals and sterilization, so it is harder now in the apocalypse.Some A/B/O worlds have an age in which pups show their alignment, in mine they are aligned with their second gender at birth, however Omegas present as beta until their first heat which usually takes place at ages 8-10

When they first arrived at the quarry, Merle insisted on scenting Daryl heavily.
Once they joined up and were introduced around, Merle saw the way Ed's eyes followed them, lingering on his brother. Daryl noticed too and reminded Bo to keep his knife on him.
The omegas in camp were weary of each other and kept separate nests, which Merle could understand. Besides the little family packs, no one in camp had known each other from Adam just a month previous.

Being an omega was supposed to be like winning the genetic lottery. All his life he’d heard that omegas were rare and wondrous and highly coveted, but Daryl saw them for what they really were. Omegas were prisoners, living cloistered and restrictive lives full of belittlement and objectification. Sure, they were trussed up in the best clothes, their lives made to look glamorous and exciting by the media that dogged their every move, but Daryl could see past the glittery smiles and breezy interviews.
Omegas were slaves and there was no way in fuck he would ever allow himself to be counted among them.

Just kinda fell out of love with this fic sorry for the inconvenience yall currently discontinued maybe one day ill return to it?
Negan and Rick are both primes of a single pack, they're smart, and they know what they are doing. They're learning that together they can and are able to manage the large pack. When two rouge brothers appear at the foot of their camp they're learning not everything is as it seems.
Together they have to figure out not only to protect their pack but understand their relationship with one another, and try to understand how together they can court a certain packmate.
