meanwhile, it’s been around a year and a half since seether arrived in America, and Shaun is dealing with not only alcoholism, but also with loneliness and the strive to be a better father for jayde, who he had left behind in South Africa.
dale knows that shaun is in pain, and feels the need to take it upon himself to help him. he processes it as a friendly reaction at first, but that eventually leads to developing a crush on him, questioning his sexuality, and even envying amy’s closeness with shaun.
