For the briefest moment, he caught a glimpse of the Champion’s eyes. There—an imperceptible tremor—the cold pupils behind the great helm wavered. Disgusting. The failure to honor his master—his friend, his companion, his family—with a final, mighty roar. To stand by and bear witness as his master unsheathed his glorious blade for the very last time… He would rather perish.
Destiny quailed before those whose hearts burned with the fire of change, granting the doomed a fleeting chance to rise and fight.

Summary
As the Godseeker loses himself in his conquest, a young engineer, raised in the Faith of Providence, discovers a piece of lost history. Champions of the dragons, left to slumber for millennia, awaken to revive their old masters. Blessed by the mercy of shadow, they begin the journey to return the dragon's souls to the Aerie. But getting to a land only accessible through dragon flight is no small task. Especially when the last dragon has no intent to help those merciful to gods. Meanwhile, a threat writhes under the skin of the Terraria. Worms burrow from distorted realms, threatening to devour all.

Summary
It's a fanfic about Terraria's Calamity Mod and what happens after SCal is defeated and is invited to live in the town. It is loosely based on one of my first playthroughs.
This is based on the latest Calamity update (as of writing), and small bits of Inferum. Addendum: mostly based on the current Calamity update. Some things (mostly lore) can be rewritten as I see fit.
Also screw the Murasama change, that's gonna make the current melee scenes not make as much practical sense.Romance maybe? I'll see when I get there, but I'm not good with romance so probably not.
