His eyes were that of a jewel, shining with life, but at the same time housing a certain darkness only someone like Clown could recognize. It shone with a pinkish tint, bright and faint, like a star in the twilight sky. It was blurred against a dull, darker color.

Branzy, or otherwise known as Flicker, was a faceless villain who had rose to fame after having left hundreds upon hundreds of inescapable traps littered across the capital, each trap claiming the lives of all the intended victims. Despite being an infamous villain, he had never once been sighted in public.
So why did he receive a letter addressed to ‘Flicker’ on his front doorstep?
OR
Branzy is a faceless villain born with the ability to see the odds of something and can change the chances of something succeeding or not, making his traps very effective. Clownpierce discovers this and wants to abuse that.

There are heroes that simply work to keep their cities clean from evil, there are heroes assigned to certain tasks or missions. Everyone got used to this system surprisingly quick!
But of course, not everything in life is sunshine and rainbows (or ice, or fire). As per usual, some people use the blessings they were given for bad.

Your typical superheroes AU with oneshots that will usually focusing on mcyt pairs or more. Pairs can be both platonic and romatic, others depicted as platonic but can be read as romantic if the reader wishes. For extra spice, I made sure to make most of the characters you'd expect to be something the other thing! So kind of a roleswap AU as well. Not entirely, though.
The earlier oneshot can be read individually, but it all follows one storyline, exist in the same world, and sort of connect with each other. It becomes more connected and inseperable the more it goes on.Don't get distracted by the fluff. I warn you.

Ive finished this, however, this deserves to be pinned. The emotions, the scenes, the writing, its a masterpiece.chapter 14 is the best, the way they describe each death, the way they write out the story, the way they end it. Its just something you dont see much. Especially the determination.

This was soon coupled with piercing spears of sound from firework rockets, most likely launching his target and pals far, far into the air.
Parrot, he languidly recalled. The face under the cracked mask twisted into a pained scowl. The thought didn’t reside long, however, soon overtaken by the overwhelming sensations plaguing him; blistering burns, sultry air pushing across his now partially exposed face, searing lungfuls of ashy air ripping and rubbing against his airways…He groaned and rolled over weakly, attempting to push himself upwards…which promptly sent him back downwards with a pitch of his world.

Clown is a busy assassin with too much experience on him to not attract a lot of potential clients and employers. One contract has him going away on the week of his and Branzy's 2nd anniversary, which Branzy doesn't appreciate much. He knows, however, how to make their anniversary celebration good!
