First Arc Synopsis:
This story begins after a few events in Thomas' life. It's been a year since he and Nico have broken up and he has already gotten familiar with the Orange side which is his Rage. Logan and Orange/Rage have a workable relationship for the moment, as do the other sides.
Thomas calls the sides to catch up with them, since he hadn't spoken to them in a while. As they get up to their usual banter, certain forcefully hidden secrets are revealed.PS: You can read each arc independent of the other. First arc summary is at the start of the second arc, summary of first and second at the start of the third and so on. :)

The two creatures sit, innocuous as anything, on Janus’s desk. A little tree frog and a steller’s jay, the ladder a vibrant indigo and the former a bright sky blue. They blink up at him, hopping a little on the table, calm as the night sky.
The *problem* is that this is *not* innocuous and Janus is *not calm*.
“I’m sorry, you want me to do *what* while you’re in the Imagination realm?”
“Watch Indigo,” Logan says, stoic, “and Hopper as well, if I understand.”
“You do understand!” Patton exclaims next to him. “Oh, I was a little worried they’d be lonely with no other animal companions, but now they’ve got two! I know they’re going to have so much fun with you!”
In a situation where Logan and Patton are the ones relinquishing a part of their souls, why is *Janus* the one who feels like he’s being read like an open book?

Each side has a special sight, allowing them to see things according to their function. Like Virgil being able to see fears and worries physically or in someone’s mind. Roman can see too. As the prince of romance, he can see his fellow sides’ hearts, able to know when they’re heartbroken or healing. He’s grateful only he can see hearts though. Roman’s own heart is broken and he has yet to let it heal so no one needs to see that yet.
