Summary
“A hero always wins, and the villain will always lose”
That is the norm, heroes save the day while the villains are locked away and left to rot. But what if it was the other way around? What if the heroes lost and the villains won? What if after all their effort, they came out of this fight losing, allowing the villains to win?
Well, for Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo this is the case. The norm established by the superpowered society is broken, the villains are victorious, and the three teenagers are taken away and sold. The heroes aren’t able to stop it, the ones they were trying to save are now gone, forever in the clutches of their new owners.
Note: This is an alternate ending to the fic “Taken”, this story will follow the unfortunate outcome where the heroes lose and the Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki are actually sold and taken. I highly recommend you read the original story before reading this one, however, a synopsis will be posted in the first chapter.

Summary
The life of a hero didn’t always involve grandiose fights or exemplary saves. Hero work usually meant patrolling and ensuring one was available for anything, big or small. Today was one of those days for three young heroes in training. Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki were doing a usual patrol, not expecting anything significant to happen. Suddenly, trouble ensured.
It all started with a civilian asking for help but were then unknowingly lured into a trap and then kidnapped to be sold off for their quirks. When the word goes out that the three strongest students at UA will be doing their work-study at the Endeavor agency, interested eyes are bound to follow them.

He knows they’ll have to either alter his memories or spin a few lies to the child so he doesn’t ask questions and try to escape. It won’t matter if the child doesn’t survive, they don’t need him to, but they can’t be too sure. Just an unfortunate loss of a soul part of the dwindling quirkless population due to this unknown, fake disease he made up to get his hands on blank slates. No one is going to care if a few quirkless people disappear. A dying breed itself. Adults were too complex and turned into mindless Nomu so why not see what would happen if he used a child. Luckily, he came across the perfect candidate last year.

Izuku Midoriya was thought to be useless for not having a quirk. That's exactly the reason why he was taken and used as some experiment in order to heal the demon lord from the ashes of what remained. However, the 'good' doctor didn't expect there would be 'heroes' among them that would care for a worthless child that is nothing more than a melting pot. They'll escape their reasons for being and are will be on a path to find their true places in the world and protect each other from the demons chasing them and rooted inside. -

Izuku twisted the ring on his ring finger painfully, the lavender stone digging into his palm painfully as Izuku continued to run through the twisting hallways.
Izuku didn't remember what had happened, what had led him to this point. It almost seemed like one moment he had been sleeping peacefully next to Hitoshi and the next he was watching him kill a blonde hero. One that Izuku couldn't exactly place but something in his chest screamed at his death.
