It’d be a short run, for Jay, he knew it would be. He was fast. Yet his heart still leaped to his throat, pumping quicker and quicker with each step he took. Oh God he’s gonna be in so much trouble—
“You’re late.”
Jay froze up, his breathing paused and his body tensed.
