But, in a sheer moment of weakness, Orel wondered if a punishing touch was better than no touch at all. He knew the sounds weren’t real. He knew the cold wasn’t real. He knew, he knew, he knew. But this did not make it go away.

Part of me doesn’t want to hide it, well I do but I want someone to notice. I want to be the guy who puts on a brave mask despite his troubles only for a close friend to notice, tell me everything will be ok, help me. I want help but God I can’t just ask for it, who does that?
