The Jedi, their Mandalorian partners and friends hide in a hole on Coruscant's notorious Level 1313 while a Fascist Galaxy rises above them. They have only one goal: get off Coruscant, stay hidden, keep everyone -- including the Younglings that made it out of the Temple -- alive. Naat Reath, already having faced down a Dark Acolyte of the Sith, lost two Masters, and is now pregnant with a father who fights for the Empire, barely holds it together. On the other side of the Galaxy, Arya Wooy's Master, known across the Outer Rim as "Jedi Bob" searches for his Padawan, in a Galaxy that was once his playground, now turned dark and hostile. Still others, including the Nelvaanian Akime Sen and the wounded, discharged clone trooper CT-0916, have to navigate a civilian's life in this new, darker, Galaxy. Like tonight, a year ago, Ed was visited by his dead mother.
The dream has always been the accident. Of Edward, strapped to a seatbelt in the passenger seat of their vehicle, and, over and over, being unable to dredge himself out. Neither Trisha nor Al responded to his thrashing, screaming, pleading. The truck always hit.
A year ago, it was different.
Edward stood on the outside, in the grass on the corner of the intersection. The sky was bright blue, clouds corralled around the circle of deadly space made up by two crossing roads. He watched his mother inch into the clearing, watched his own face trapped in the cherubic naivety of childhood, enraptured by the front window. Watched him spot the barreling truck, and, for the first time, witnessed the accident from the exterior.

At first, they're confused and target the protagonist of the universe, assuming that he was attacking a woman already locked away in the basement, but as time goes on and loops repeat, they realize that the princess is not what she seems
The Long Quiet and the voices in his head are confused on why slaying the princess is more complicated than the narrator lets on.

Summary
This is a particularly indulgent piece, combining two of my favorite video games, Destiny 2 and Slay the Princess, and being centered around two of my favorite characters from their respective games, the Witness and the Shifting Mound. They are very dear to me on an individual level and even more so when together, so I decided to explore their relationship (and some of the Vessels) through creating a raid. That being said, I think there is something to be gained from this piece even if you are not a fan of one of these games. The Shifting Mound has come to inhabit the Witness' decrepit Monolith after its defeat and seeks to bring back the Guardians' greatest foe in an improved, perfected shape. As for her motivation, I suppose you will have to see for yourselves. This entry includes six raid encounters, one with each of the Vessels and a final one against Shifty herself, all bearing a name, an objective and an mechanics explanation and exploration. It also includes a bunch of lore entries for the items that would be found within the raid. The raid mechanics section is not vital to understanding the lore entries and vice versa, although they are meant to compliment each other. I hope you enjoy and thank you for reading.

It’s been quite some time since the vessels were separated from the shifting mound, actualized into their own people. They aren’t humans still, but they are no longer just vessels.
Fury is surprised but grateful for how much effort the others put into involving her- even if she suspects it’s from pity. But something has started eating at her more and more with every day.
The other exceptions to their new lives in the castle Ever woke up in (but claims is too large and too perfect for them all to be hers) don’t bother her except for Den, who nobody has heard from. Not even Wild, who is the woods they are surrounded by.
Everyone else is dismissive or wary about approaching Den. Even Beast fears her animalistic tendencies, the kindest princesses don’t want to insert themselves and some of the others talk like she’s a feral stray despite knowing better- despite knowing she’s one of them. It doesn’t sit right with her.
So much so that she’s here, staring down the maw of a cavern.
Aka rare pair yuri born of being obsessed with den and finding an account obsessed with fury and putting some similarities together and getting consumed by the thought.
