Summary
Evan Buckley was never supposed to stay behind.
But after a mission went sideways and left his team shattered, Echo was honorably discharged, combat trauma too deep to ignore. A year later, he's a rookie firefighter at Station 118, raising Christopher, doing everything he can to hold it together while Eddie deploys for one final tour.
