His arms and legs feel so heavy that he considers crawling through the floor to reach his desk. But then again, that's too much movement for his limbs so he stalls on the edge of the bed but he's interrupted by his phone lighting up on his desk with the caller ID.
It feels like it takes more power than it should, but he reaches for his phone, and... it shows him Sykkuno's display name and his heart jumps suddenly in his chest. Stuttering and panicking.
He tries to talk, trying his voice, but it's too fucked up right now to sound coherent and the mere thought of speaking makes him want to cry on its own.
He blinks away the betraying tears trying to escape again and answers anyway.
