With the help of a dashing tracker, a crazy Khajiit, an Imperial scholar, a wolf and a tiny automaton, this band of merry misfits will take on the secrets of the Dwemer and save the world from an army now awakened with no masters to stop them.

A book found by adventurers in an abandoned part of Skyrim, written in an almost-forgotten language, was taken to Summerset Isles and trusted to text specialist Lumi Yevra, who painstakingly translated the ancient Falmer story into modern Tamrielic. A copy of this book falls into the hands of researcher Dierno Ainoreth, who is inspired by its mythic tale and travels to Skyrim himself to seek the fabled Snow Dwarf. This is that book.
This book tells of a child born to a Dwemer father and Falmer mother and how he was forgotten beneath the icy tundra of northern Skyrim. Meant to read like an in-game book.

Elle n’avait pas été capable d’empêcher la mort de Cinuen Camoran, celle qui l’avait aidée tout au long de la crise de Fortdhiver et lors de son voyage en Oblivion.C’est la mort dans l’âme, qu’elle confia le bâton Ordonnateur à Shivlara Krelratz et se concentra sur une autre tâche : rebâtir le Planétaire et l’Observatoire d’Haafstad à Mhulchazn. Ces outils qui avaient permis de retrouver son père, avant qu’il disparaisse à nouveau, étant le dernier héritage de l’Altmer qui lui était chère.
Alors qu’elle retrouve Shivlara, après qu’elles aient toutes deux terminé leurs tâches : elle apprends un décès à l’Académie. Un décès qui va entrainer une nouvelle cascade d’évênements. Le père d'Uleni Fyr, le puissant Divayth, est porté disparu avec l'une des sœurs de l'Archimage, Beyte, depuis maintenant trois ans.Malgré des témoignages parlant d'eux explorant les ruines de Volenfell, personne ne sait où trouver le plus puissant mage vivant de Tamriel. Certains prétendent même qu'il aurait quitté le Mundus car il aurait perdu son immortalité.
Passant outre son inquiétude pour son père et sa sœur, Uleni poursuit son office en tant qu'Archimage de Fortdhiver. Aidée de l'Architecte Tonale Shivlara Krelratz, elle supervise aussi la reconstruction de la ville autour de l'Académie sous la forme d'une cité bientôt capable de rivaliser avec les autres grandes de Bordeciel.
Une lettre viens cependant perturber les habitudes de Shivlara et Uleni. Alors que l'Archimage termine les soins sur le Jarl Ulfric, pour briser définitivement l'emprise du Thalmor sur lui, une lettre arrive de la lointaine Haaftad. Cinuen Camoran invite Shivlara et Uleni à lui rendre visite pour leur faire part d'une découverte stupéfiante..."
Cette histoire démarre pendant The Elder Scrolls : Lost legacies | Loups et Dragons et le dépasse (d'où le fait qu'elle soit postée en partie 5).
