Stede was a sentimental fool deep down, and not so deep down if he’s being honest, and he believed that this life with Edward was the best life he could possibly have. So it wasn’t his fault that sometimes he got a little excited, right? Stede found very quickly that he really quite enjoyed looking at Ed, especially when the heat and hard work got to him and he would tie his hair up into a loose bun. Of course looking at Ed lead to thinking about what else they could be doing if they weren't working on the house. Includes fanart by me!

Stede frowned and sat up. No matter how much he wriggled, there wasn’t any room to break his legs apart. He peaked under the covers and raised a brow. Stede was still wearing his silk pyjama top, but his pants had vanished, and his legs were wrapped together with his favourite orange blanket. Right on cue, Ed pushed open the bedroom door with his shoulder, carrying a tray in his hands.
“Gooood morning,” he announced with an all-too-happy smile on his face. “I hope you slept well.”

“What?” Stede came out running from the building in a clear panic. “Edward, what the hell is that?!”
“It's Pedro, our new goat,” Ed said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. He looked at Stede, who stood there with his hands on his hips and shock plastered on his face.
“Our what?”
“Our goat!” Ed beamed up, running up the hill, pulling Pedro by the leash. He wasn’t very cooperative, but Ed was persistent in pulling him towards their house.
“Why the hell have you gotten us a goat?!” Stede’s voice was full of confusion as he wiped sweat from his forehead.
“Pedro had a bottle stuck between the horns, with your letter inside! The guy who owned him said that I couldn’t just take the bottle, so…”
“So you stole a goat?!” Stede gasped as he strolled down the hill to Ed.
“Nah, I've bought Pedro.”
As Ed and Stede settle into their new home/inn Stede's letters randomly start to pop up in the most bizarre places.
Some are not what the expected at all.

“Fucking—shit!” Ed yells, flinching away from the little monster with enough force that he nearly capsizes the rickety old rowboat.
Water splashes, the dinghy’s nose flies into the air, and Ed hastily grabs the gunwale and lurches his weight forward to keep the damn thing upright. By the time he’s done that and the boat’s settled back to calm, he’s lost track of the fucking spider.
