Prompt 20: Giving permission to dieWith his survival taken care of, he could think of the bizarreness of his situation. He didn’t know why he was at sea, where he’d come from, or where he was going. He carried a satchel of herbs, with the name ‘Trousseau’ stitched into the fabric inside, containing a plague doctor’s mask and a very large jar of dried purple flowers. They had a potent, familiar scent he couldn’t begin to describe. He must be an apothecary, and his name must be Trousseau.
Spoilers for the end of Castti's story. Familiarity with Octopath 2 not required.

“Do you remember anything from before we formed Eir’s Apothecaries?"
Malaya hesitated at the question before shaking her head. “No,” she admitted softly. “I took away your memories of Eir’s Apothecaries and Healeaks because I knew you needed time before you would be ready for it. Everything before that… It was already out of my reach before I appeared to you. As far as I can tell, there are others with us.”
“Others?” Castti echoed, her eyes going wide. “Do you think they know?”
“They probably do,” Malaya confirmed. “I don’t know anything about them though. The only person I was ever aware of was you. I could always feel someone else watching me though. They don’t want to come out of hiding for some reason or another.”
“We should try to find them,” Castti suggested even though she admittedly had no idea how she would go about something as vague as reaching out to the other presences in her head. “They have to know that we’ve found each other, and if we reach out, then maybe they can give us a few answers.”
