Or: Two years post DG, Glinda the Good disappeared. Now she’s back, claiming she was held prisoner by the Wicked Witch of the West. This is news to Elphaba.
Upon reaching the Emerald City, Elphaba finds things are worse than she could have imagined-Glinda has almost no memory of the last two years and she’s afraid of Elphaba. After crashing Glinda’s wedding, Elphaba takes her deep into the Vinkus, where she must find a way to restore her memories or risk losing the love of her life yet again.

“Were you expecting any visits?” Fiyero asks.
“Not at all,” Elphaba replies, already getting up from her chair and walking towards the door.
Another three knocks, same speed and rhythm as before, if not a little bit more insistent, just before Elphaba pulls the door open, hand extending forward, eyes hard, only to be met with a dark sky and the barely visible tree line, until she looks down, her eyes meet wide, bright, brown eyes.
“Hi!” Said the child, voice high pitched with excitement.

Always one to exceed expectations, Galinda includes a letter of introduction to the Wizard with her registration in hopes of catching his attention as a future Grand Sorceress. A few weeks later, she receives a response, but it’s not from the Wizard.
Elphaba, the Wizard’s reclusive green daughter, has never known life beyond the Royal Emerald Palace. For her protection, the palace’s high walls isolate her from the world, and she combats her solitude in any small way she can. On her fourteenth birthday, she spots a pink stationery sticking out of a manila file in her father’s papers, leading to an unexpected secret friendship between the two girls.

Glinda chews her lip. She motions toward the deer tea pet, free hand drifting to her cheek, sapping at the all-too-warm heat along her skin. "This one," she says.
"Only that one?" Elphaba tilts her head.
So she did catch Glinda eyeing the bunny and water buffalo too. The matching celadon green of the three simply begs to be an inseparable set. Her mouth lifts in an easy smile. "I need to travel light."
And it's not a lie. It just means that she'll come back.
Elphaba hums and nods. The rich, full-bodied descending whistle she sighs gives Glinda pause, soaking in the sound, hand stilled around her wallet. "Right on. I'll go ahead and ring you up."
Following post-production, Glinda tries to lay low by day and thrill in the nightlife within the city she grew up protecting. That is, until she meets Elphaba, who also seems to be nowhere and everywhere all at once.

Elphaba realizes that they are the ones behind the oppression of animals and that the fraudulent Wizard intended to use her. Horrified, Elphaba steals the Grimmerie and flees. Glinda follows Elphaba and implores her to reconcile with Morrible and the Wizard, but Elphaba chooses to rebel. Elphana and Glinda flee, with Madame Morrible sending the monkeys and palace guards to go after them. They are chased through the tower and attempt to escape on a hot air balloon, but their path is blocked, and the balloon bursts after they escape. Now the Wizard and Madame Morrible have taken Elphaba and Glinda captive.

my favorite headcanon is that Galinda is immediately obsessed with Elphaba, and this is just that. essentially a series of journal entries addressed to Elphaba from Galinda, canon compliant so far but I'll see how long I can keep that up. 6 chapters started, no clue how many I'll end up doing.
no sexual content per se but Galinda definitely has wants and ideas and this is her journal so she's gonna express those in a deeply honest way.... along with questioning her sexuality etc
