When one domino falls, the rest follow. Years ago Buck was a Navy SEAL but left. After that, he moved to Los Angeles and became a firefighter. Now in the present, more dominos fall when Buck sees a squirrel, wins the lottery, and then gets recruited by Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett to hunt down the man who killed his father.
Featuring but not limited to: Buck having PTSD, Eddie being jealous about Buck being in Hawaii with another man, and Grant-Nash-Buckley trivia night.

Summary
Grace and Danny spend the weekend away, supplied by his new partner, but the detective finds himself distracted by McGarrett’s motivations. He finds Steve at a time when the SEAL needs him most and a deeper level to their relationship is born.
Just my take on what might have happened post Ep1, S1. It might be far fetched if you track the early episodes of the show but they never really addressed when Danny and Steve truly bonded or how their trust and respect for one another came so easily.
Additionally, they didn't touch the emotions Steve may have had after his father's death until much much later (which seemed odd) so I decided to fix it in my own way.

No, because the thing about werewolves, especially adult, sexy, adrenaline-filled and single werewolves, well especially one, is that if they like you and he wants you in his pack, well, we'll say that he will stop at nothing to impress and please you.
As you have no idea how absolutely, absolutely, but absolutely, determined He, the werewolf, can be to prove himself.

Alors voilà, Danny est un ondin. Qui part à Hawaï. Pour être avec sa fille. Ça se passe super bien. Top cinq de sa vie. Il vous jure.
Il rencontre un loup-garou, bien sûr. Parce que c’est sa vie, hein. Tu sais, tant qu’à avoir l’emmerdement maximum dans la vie, autant y allait en beauté ou pas du tout.
Non, parce que le truc avec les loups-garous, surtout les alphas garous adultes, sexy, bourrés d’adrénaline et célibataires, enfin surtout un, c’est que si tu leur plais et qu’il te veut dans sa meute, eh ben, on va dire qu’il ne reculera devant rien pour t’impressionner et te plaire.
Comme tu n’as même pas idée à quel point Il, le loup-garou, peut être absolument, mais absolument, déterminé à faire ses preuves.
Sauf que c’est un loup, alors tu sais, entre ça, avec sa culture de loup-garou, et le fait qu’il soit un foutu SEAL entraîné par l’armée… Ouais, tu vois ce que je veux dire. Non sérieusement ? Qui a besoin de suspendre un type au toit d’un immeuble pour plaire à quelqu’un ? Qui ?
Ah ouais, Lui. Et Danny est sa cible.
