Hannibal knows those eyes. He could pick the color out from an endless array of paints and pigments, finding just the right shade and pointing to it, knowing without question that the color belonged to Will Graham.
An AU in which, after their fall off the cliff, Will goes missing. Two years later, Hannibal is in-hiding on his own and Will reappears, but he's not the same person that he used to be and he can't remember who Hannibal is.

And of course, I could use spells from other branches of magic, but using a card from your own school seemed like it would have much more of an effect.
My fingertips gently landed on the globe, and then my palm rested on it as well. I was still nervous, of course, but I could do this. You don’t care, Jordan.
The globe lit up, sparks sizzling in a pattern I didn’t recognize, which was the problem. See, the globe emits a certain color and certain sparks that belong to a certain kind of magic. That’s how you know what school you are in.
The sparks coming from the globe were not from the Death School.
