Summary

When Anja leaves Cyrodiil for Skyrim, Sonja follows and is caught crossing the border illegally, tipping her headfirst into an adventure of a lifetime.
Mainly follows the main quest line, rewrites the Companions quest line, completely changes the outcome of the Civil War. Breaks into several stories that I'll organize into separate posts for clarity's sake, but Sonja's adventure in Skyrim is not just her own; the decisions she makes change the lives of those around her and they must find their own way forward.

With every generation, every litter, there's a kid who won't make they know doesn't make the cut, the Runt. It's a time honored tradition to leave them to die outside in the forest, alone, but what if one didn't? What if one managed to survived, managed to escape, to Cyrodiil perhaps, and spent years invested in learned the arts of the arcane instead? What if that orc came back to Skyrim after all those years away, only to be captured, and tried for treason to the empire? What if that orc... was a Dragonborn?

This is an experimental narration of my personal (modded) Skyrim adventure. It's an ongoing work with sporadic updates due to work and health constraints. It's told from the perspective of a Redguard from Hammerfell named Tristan Graves, who happens to be a bard on his way to the college at Solitude. His close friend and fellow bard Lore went on ahead of him, but turned back and warned him not to attempt the trip. But our protagonist is not one who is in the habit of listening to warnings. Upon crossing the border into Skyrim from Cyrodiil, he finds himself caught in a major skirmish between two warring factions, falsely accused, arrested, and sentenced to death. Seeing no way out of his predicament, he had all but given up hope until fate intervened...
